Marriott Savannah Riverfront - Hotel in Savannah - 100 General McIntosh Blvd, USA

My husband and I chose to celebrate my birthday in Savannah. I chose this Marriott because I have attended many conferences at the location and love the service but this time was over and beyond. I mentioned to Alexandra that we were there to celebrate my birthday and asked for the best available room at the price I paid. Because we arrived two hours before check-in she looked hard to find us a room. We were placed in room 219 which was perfect! We were able to see the restaurant at n the 1st floor, room was right next to the ice machine, and steps away from the “BLUE” restaurant and the exit that leads to the boardwalk. We unpacked the car and walked the boardwalk and took our time to take in the sites. When we returned, I took a bath and when I got out the shower, my husband said a lady dropped off a beautiful fruit and cheese platter along with a card signed by Alexandra and Anthony. I was so pleased by the gesture, I called the front desk to thank him personally. I saw Alexandra during check out and thanked her for being so kind. It’s little things like this that sets them above the rest. Thanks you both for helping to make this a memorable birthday.

There were some good things about this hotel but many bad things. Good things: the indoor balconies were so much fun, spent more time on it than in the room, but it is very, very noisy. There is so much parking. There is no need to worry about a spot. The maids were super nice. The location is great. Bad things: the toilet wouldn't stop running, sink stopped up, and shower door wouldn't shut in our room. The staff seemed annoyed at us for asking for help unclogging the toilet; it would not stop running, so it clogged. The pool looks ugly and green. The staff wouldn't serve us when we were sitting at the downstairs bar tables. They just kept avoiding us. The staff, besides our maid, were overall over rude and judging. I saw them several times talking about guests after 'helping' them.

My wife and I were able to get away to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary for a long weekend. We arrived around 11 pm after about a 6 hour journey. Upon checking in, Nandini Munde was excellent, greeting us as expected and making sure we were aware of the hotel amenities, the Savannah area and things that were close. She also asked if we were celebrating any event and we mentioned our anniversary. Shortly after arriving at our room, Nandini arrived with an awesome cheese and fruit tray, as well as a a hand-written card for our anniversary. We found this extremely thoughtful and was a great beginning to a great 4 days in Savannah. We would definitely stay here again. Beautiful location, easy parking, and so convenient.

The hotel is situated at the end of the river front. Pro: no loud bar crowd at night. Only draw back(sort of): gotta walk 5minutes to get to the main part of the riverfront…no issues for us but something to consider for some. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the room was clean. Nothing to complain about! Would absolutely stay again.

Our first trip to Savanna with our aunt and uncle. Long drive to get here (can you avoid Atlanta?) Went to the bar for something to eat and drink. The food was very good, the service was excellent. Our server, Harsh was attentive and gave us great suggestions for what to do. Spent the next two days doing the usual things. Each night we would finish the day at the bar. Harsh would ask us about our day and what was next. The food there is as good or better than any of the restaurants we had been to. And the service was outstanding. We highly recommend the Marriott Savannah Riverfront.

There is nothing negative I can say about this hotel. Everything was wonderful. The best part was being close to everything that was happening in Savannah. The riverfront the restaurant's and the shops all within walking distance. Oh and can I say the staff was very friendly, absolutely the best. Loved everything!!

I work in the hotel industry and all I can say about the Marriott Savannah Riverfront Hotel is WOW!! Every year we travel to Savannah in August for my birthday. This is the first time we stayed at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront. From the time we checked in until the time we checked out, everyone was so nice and hospitable. Our guest room was very clean and well appointed. In our guest room had a balcony that looked down to the atrium and had a nice view of the river. We had breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner in the restaurants on property. All the wait staff was amazing, very attentive and the food is delicious. By our second day, the restaurant staff knew our names and what we liked to drink. That's customer service!||Sadly, the hurricane cut our trip short, but we will definitely be booking our future stays in Savannah with the Marriott Savannah Riverfront.

We had a great stay ahead of Hurricane Debby. Very nice riverfront view from our room, easy access to town. Excellent front desk staff including Sophie and Lindsay. We left our daughter's tablet in the lobby and they were quick to figure out returning it to us. The epitome of customer service was our lobby bartender named Harsh. He made an excellent martini, was very helpful with restaurant recommendations, and very sweet with our daughter (with toys and ice cream!). We'll be back.
