MVC experiences are always good and this stay was also.|From the time of arrival Josh and the valets were very helpful. Front desk was a breeze with great help from Lilly, Kelsey and the rest of the team. We had a 3 brm unit that was wonderful. We enjoyed the amenities of Heavenly Village and the resort. |A special thanks to Fred head of security. In our haste to pack up 5 grandkids under 2.5 (they did not want to leave after a week:) We left some clothing. When we called, housekeeping was not aware and Fred said he would investigate.|He called me and had found the items. We were able to recover them.||Please thank the whole team for an memorable stay!||we look forward to our next visit!
My friend and I stayed for a weekend during the summer. Hotel and rooms are well appointed and staff is friendly. Location is unbeatable, located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe, right next to the ski gondolas to Heavenly and walking distance for the casinos. Only negative is there’s minimal staffing. Noticed there was one waitress covering the pool area, managing drink orders. A lot of empty plates and cups were left on the side table unattended for a long time, attracting flies. Parking is valet only, $35 per night. Our room came with complimentary valet parking tho not all do.
I have been taking my wife here for her birthday for years. Great ski lodge feel, spacious rooms, tastefully decorated, well maintained, large pool and close to everything.|This is a time share property with kitchenettes that they rent as a hotel. Great for couples and families. Have been here many times with my children and grandchildren|The only negative is that they don’t have a restaurant, but there are many within the immediate area.
We had the best experience in this hotel, The location is great, walking distance from many cafes and restaurants and the gondola. And I loved their hot tub and pool, specially in a snowy weather. Beautiful view to the mountains. Really enjoyed our stay <3 and a plus was: all possible kitchen tools and utensils were available in the rooms. In case you want ti stay longer and cook something
Our recent stay at the Grand Residence from August 11-14 was enjoyable, but there were some issues. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff was friendly. We appreciated the spa resort amenities such as the large heated swimming pool and two outdoor jacuzzis. Additionally, the dry sauna and steam room were utilized in the evenings for relaxation. The valet parking service was a convenient option. However, there was a significant issue with static electricity in the hotel which made it uncomfortable for us as we were constantly getting shocked while walking around the hallways and the lobby. It was unnerving knowing that while moving in the hotel we were expecting to get shocked at any moment. This issue prevented us from giving the hotel a 5-star rating.
I would say it's closer to a 3.5. While the hotel is beautiful and the staff are friendly there are some things that were disappointing. As a Marriott vacation club owner I was surprised and disappointed that there weren't washers and dryers in the room. I was also disappointed that the bed wasn't a king size. The door to the balcony was difficult to use and the street below was rather loud. The kitchen was nice and I liked having a fireplace in the room. The bathroom was a large size but the tub was HUGE and not necessary in my opinion. The valet parking was not ideal but was glad that we did not have to pay for it.
Front desk and valet service were top notch. So helpful, speedy, courteous! Two different elevators and several minutes of walking was required to get to our room. Not convenient. Facilities seemed a bit dated which is atypical for Marriott properties. We rented a room with a fireplace and whirlpool. Those items were nothing like we envisioned. We had to rearrange the two chairs on the balcony just to get out there and rearrange them again to sit down. Without a microwave or fridge we were handicapped. The room was small enough that to make coffee, my wife had to set the coffee maker on the bathroom sink or the hall floor. We are Marriott enthusiasts but we would likely stay elsewhere. The staff is amazing but the facilities missed the mark for us.
We stayed here for a week, I had won the condo from an auction a couple years back. We had the best experience here…fabulous location, and beautiful space. The only reason I could not give it five stars for service was because we made a horrible error and left my husband‘s expensive shaver behind in one of the bathrooms, and when we called to see if they could send it to us, they said they didn’t have it, (which means obviously someone stole it). Other than that, great experience; too bad it had to end with us leaving something behind. Would’ve been nice if someone had put it aside for us.

The hotel is new and beautiful. The rooms were extremely clean and well stocked, even the kitchen had everything we could potentially want! The bed was super comfortable, the heated floors in the bathroom were great.

Great experience. The hotel is well located near restaurants, supermarkets, shopping, and beaches/trails. The rooms were well remodeled and quiet. Check in was very modernized and easy, and the staff reached out the night before (and the day of) to m
We stayed in the Rubicon Room and it was lovely. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was wonderful and we absolutely loved the lodge, the roaring fireplace, the big beams, and the gorgeous courtyard. Well worth it!
The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
The Mt. Tallac trail is an amazing trail to hike in Lake Tahoe. It isn't easy, about 4.5 miles from the trail head to the summit with about 3,300 feet of elevation gain. The second half of the trail is mostly all rock and is very steep in parts. The
Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and acc
Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
