The view of Lake Superior from the top of the mountain is a must see. There are several nice black diamond runs. There is a mix of groomed and ungroomed including moguls and tree skiing. Chair 3 goes over the Carp River. "The T-BAR" has several craft cocktails and local & domestic beers on tap. There is a cafeteria with a large space with lots of tables and a small fireplace. Can't wait to ski here again.
Excellent service and great drinks fireplace was inviting. Laughter was all over. We watched people ski as we ate, and loved the warm and cozy lodge. Being in the snow is a great way to spend time together with the family ❤️
Letting people hike for one day eliminating any snow pack we did have was a BAD decision. Please hire someone who knows how to manage a ski hill and farm snow properly so pass holders can use the hill they paid to ski. I understand it's been warmer than normal and that there have been issues with the snow guns, but that's all stuff we knew would happen, and you still failed to plan and prepare.
Don’t let the marketing team fool you! There are only 2 lifts open and 4 runs you can go down. With the inexperienced groomers leaving wind rows all over the place 2 of the runs are super dangerous! Great views from 3/4 up the mountain. Wouldn’t know about the top as it is closed. They don’t take cash or digital money. Better have a card. Everything is still full price even though only 25% of the experience is available. They have potential, but have no plans to come back here. Very blah
Not much bad to say about the place. My experience has only been mountain biking in the summer. The trails down are well cared for and provide a ton of variety for all skill levels. Staff is friendly. There's a lot going on at the place and the trails are well marked. Pricing is slightly higher than expected but not unreasonable. The food, however, is fairly pricey for what you get. Nothing is bad, it all ranges from OK to fairly decent, but it does hit a little more than you'd imagine it would be. All that said, it's a fun and quirky resort that has a lot to offer. If you're going to be in the area for more than a couple weeks, definitely get a season pass.
I went mountain biking here and it was amazing. I went during the week, so sadly the lifts weren't running and I had to hike to the top each time to go down. The hike up to the top is steep and long, but it is worth it for the runs down. I have never been to a downhill place like this before and I sadly don't have anything like this around where I live. I sadly only got about one and a half runs in before I crashed. I have been mountain biking for around 10 years, and I made the mistake of going a little too fast the second time down and paid for it. I flew over my bars and messed up my bike rim and my shoulder along with mashing my finger pretty good. Consider this a warning to keep doing slow runs until you are fully comfortable with the course before trying to go fast. I only for a run and a half in and was out for the rest of the time I was here. Excellent downhill trails, just be safe out there.
Love the trails here. I’ve flown as far as Crested Butte for downhill before. But after visiting Marquette Mountain and the next door South trails (plus a few trips to nearby Copper Harbor), just can’t find a reason to fly elsewhere anymore. Yes, they have chair lifts.
Can't tell much because we could not access due to weather, but the little we saw, beautiful!

We stayed at Nestledown back in July and it was amazing! We stayed in the cottage and I think it was honestly the best place we've ever stayed! It was unbelievably clean (felt like we were the first ones to ever stay there!) and so peaceful and quiet

Always enjoy my yearly fall hike up the mtn. Dogs love it as well. Perfect day for me that is, to get out and enjoy. Cool enough for the hike as to not work up a sweat. ð takes about an hr to hike up and the trails are well marked and worn enough
