Every year on the last Friday evening in July, Marmion Abbey hosts a free organ recital presented by the Fox Valley Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. The magnificent Martin Ott pipe organ fills this sacred space with moving and powerful music that lifts our hearts heavenward to God. "Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!" (Psalm 150:6)
Each summer, the Abbey hosts a public organ recital on the last Friday evening of July. Admission is free. Recitalists are local members of the Fox Valley Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, each playing one classical piece or hymn.
It's always a lovely evening. The monks are so welcoming. The recitalists are so talented. The organ is beautifully featured by the awesome acoustics of the space.
Very inspiring!
I performed in the Abbey last weekend with the Fox Valley Orchestra. This is an absolutely gorgeous building, excellent acoustics, and the monks were very kind and welcoming.

Wonderful family-friendly venue with many indoor/outdoor activities, great live music and fresh food all year round.
Catholics, come home.
Enjoy the peace and serenity of the Eucharist once again.
Usually six to twelve priests say Mass at 11:20 on weekdays. 45 minutes tops.
Remember to stop by for reconciliation first or make a spiritual communion if you've been away.
God Bless.
Went tonight (July 26, 2019) for a concert by the Fox Valley organists. The Abbey is austere but lovely. The organ is excellent.
Attended an organ recital here. Beautiful church, fabulous organ, will be going back when other events fit my interests.
