Cool Antique looking style restaurant!!! I ordered spicy tuna tartare, chicken pot pie & mushroom soup. The star dish for me is the mushroom soup. It was creamy and well seasoned ! Mushrooms tasted fresh 👍 That was where the best ended. The tartare was surprisingly sweet. Overly sweet. I have never eaten raw fish, sushi or sashimi or tartare that was this sweet. It was weird to me. My husband is Japanese….he was NOT into it. The chicken pot pie was too heavy . It also wasn’t really a pot pie. It had no crust. Just a puff pastry they poured creamy sauce on. The puff pastry was soggy. The filling / gravy was so thick. The chicken was supposedly free range…dry though! Server was nice & friendly Parking in rear

The food is great. Nice outdoor dining. Pet friendly. Kid friendly. Great atmosphere to catch up with friends. Sadly the service is below average. Food takes forever to come out and the servers avoid making eye contact with you unless they have food to bring out. Oh and beware because the plates can give you second degree burns with how hot they come from the kitchen. Finally if you are a multi-person party just do yourself a favor and ask for one check instead. They made several mistakes on all of our checks (we were a party of 4). I usually don't like to complain about an establishment however we've had problems here so often prior, I think it was well overdue 😕

Typical cafe atmosphere. Good for a small group, individuals, or couples. Our server was courteous and attentive. The roasted artichoke appetizer tasted authentic and fresh. The ginger salmon was well flavored and cooked thoroughly. The skirt steak on the other hand was lacking any flavor, well except for butter. The dish came out a bit cold to the point that a pool of grease had solidified at the corner of the plate. Would come again, but would order something new next time.

Somehow everything on the menu hits! Except the fried chicken was way more batter than chicken, I felt. Atmosphere was relaxed with decent music that millennials can vibe to. So much diversity in their menu, it's amazing. They also threw in a deal and gave me a small bowl of chili once when it usually comes only in one size/price now. Would recommend :) I would say it's not quite fancy date material, maybe for families or familiar couples.

I was having a rough morning and went to my favorite brunch place as a pick-me-up. I asked for an affogato after a very tasty meal (and I understand a lot of waiters don't know what that was so I wasn't expecting to get it) but my waiter was determined to make it for me anyway. I described it as an espresso with an ice cream scoop and did just that but put it in a bowl! I had tears in my eyes from laughter and just what I needed today. She took it off my receipt but I would've gladly paid for it. It was the best affogato I ever had. Thank you Marmalade Cafe for your amazing and kind service. I always have a smile on my face when I leave.

I enjoyed a delicious breakfast of waffles with berries. Marmalade has a beautiful atmosphere with great service.

Nice and relaxed neighborhood spot. Street metered parking or a small lot behind the building is available but the lot fills up quick. Food is above average and service is very friendly. Well worth a visit.
