Marla Dorrel Park - Park in Cary - 111 Thurston Dr, USA

Great little park, lots of trees to keep it shaded. There are several distinct play areas to help separate the different age groups of kids. There are multiple areas for sand play and even a misting area. Enough to get the kids properly messy. 😁 It's also right on the Greenway, which is convenient. Parking can be a little tight on the weekend but you can usually find someone heading out. There's even a pavilion you can rent for parties with bathrooms attached. I'm not sure what the maintenance schedule is like, the park was quite wet and messy from yesterday's rain.

As expected Carry has one of the nicer parks. Multiple walks to other parks and stuff. Very clean area! (well we did find a trash can covered in caterpillars[see pictures])

Great place for the kids to play. Lots of shaded areas, and the i have working mister incase you start to get to hot. Lot if space for and equipment for the kids to run around and play with.

Was in Cary area and looking for park to spend an hour. Found this wonderful park for my little champ. Weather was quite cold still the park was crowded. The park is well maintained and is for all ages of kids. Play area has 3 different areas for toddlers, kids and bigger kids. Lots of benches around the park to take a sit. Walkway around the play area for a little walk. My son liked the park a lot.

This is such a great park! There’s a variety of play areas suitable for different ages and stages. Big kids and little kids, including toddlers can play here. There’s a large sandbox area and an open space with a dragon structure that the kids can climb on. Most of the park is shaded. It was pretty busy when we were there on a Sunday afternoon, but there was still plenty of space.

Lovely park with several playgrounds for various ages. Bathrooms are clean with a huge handicap accessible area and changing station that I loved. Our son loved the sand to play in along with the fun dragon and eggs and the mini excavators which were so cute. The interesting animal sculptures are unique and worth seeing. It was also dog friendly with a Greenway path around the outside of the park for us to take our dog.

Great little park. Multiple swing areas( regular, toddler, special needs and A wheelchair swing)! Skate park. Several Sand areas. Just wish the water fountains were on.

This park is great. Lots of shade so kids and parents are comfortable. My daughter likes exploring the different areas. Many play options for kids of all ages. Always enjoy our visits here. It’s also conveniently located to shops and restaurants if you have errands or lunch afterwards.
