Had a great 1-night stay in the Renaissance Suite which was spacious and comfortable with a huge bathroom. Free parking. Safe and walkable neighborhood with parks and restaurants. Just steps away from the Big Four pedestrian bridge over the Ohio river! We were on the 3rd (top) floor and there were no elevators so keep that in mind if stairs are a problem for you. Breakfast was excellent. Talk to the innkeepers if you can to learn about the inn’s interesting history and renovation.

We had good communication prior to our arrival and a warm reception upon arrival. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Our breakfast was delicious and bountiful with made to order eggs , pancakes and choice of breakfast meat. A nice variety of sweet bread and pudding along with several juices and coffee made for a hearty meal. ||The inn is within easy walking distance of all that Jeffersonville has to offer just two blocks from the pedestrian bridge.||Carol and her husband were engaging and accommodating and assisted us with all our inquiries. ||When next we are in need of accommodation in Jeffersonville this will be our first choice.

This is our first time here, and we have really loved it. Carol, one of the owners, has been great to work with and very accommodating. We are staying in “The Classical”. We are very happy with it, and look forward to seeing the other rooms at some point, as they sound very cool. Breakfast was excellent. Great ambiance overall. Highly recommended!

We stayed here during the Kentucky Derby, and it was absolutely the best choice! The home is a historic renovation and in terrific shape. Carol and her team did a great job making sure every need was met. The breakfast was amazing every morning. The rooms are all unique with very tall ceilings and the room temp was kept cool. We spent the evening enjoying the rooftop deck and mornings on the front porch. Restaurants are just blocks away, and the walking bridge to downtown Louisville is at the park at the end of the block. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

We stayed here for 4 nights during the PGA Championship tournament. What a wonderful place. My first bed and breakfast and I loved everything about it. Great location. You can actually walk over the walking bridge to Louisville. The breakfasts were amazing and the rooms charming and comfortable. Beautiful rooftop patio. And the owners were lovely. Thank you Carol and Steve and I didn’t get the other lady’s name. Loved listening to the history of this place and the tender loving care you give to it and to your guests. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I spent the first night of our honeymoon at this B&B and we were blown away by our gorgeous room and bathroom! Breakfast was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed hearing the stories from the proprietors about the history of the place, as well as the extensive remolding job they did. The home is beautiful and location is excellent.

I absolutely loved my stay at Market Street Inn when I was traveling to Louisville for a conference. The ambience and atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and welcoming. My stay was very quiet (this isn't a child-friendly hotel, which I appreciated) and also felt safe. The owners are kind and helpful. I felt well taken care of, and my dietary restrictions were handled well for the delicious breakfast each morning. I highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast especially to professionals and couples traveling in the area. It made my travels feel much more comfortable and special.

We've stayed at 58 bed and breakfasts and experienced a range of accommodations and hospitality. Our recent stay did not match the recent 5-star reviews. Maybe the innkeepers were distracted by friends staying, but we were the only guests on a Monday-Tuesday and didn't feel like we had their attention. One of the staff was very helpful with directions but when I mentioned this to the innkeeper I barely got a reply. Many opportunities to tell us about their restoration of house, the neighborhood, their travels were missed; these are things we've enjoyed at 5-star hospitality B&Bs. Our room was quiet despite the sometimes noisy street and we enjoyed time on the front porch. The inn is very convenient to the Big Four pedestrian bridge, restaurants, and a park. Breakfast was fine but not gourmet. And our Rose Room must have been quite desirable 15 years ago; now a bit tired.
