Heaven on earth as far as I’m concerned! All homemade! It’s like a General Store. Such a cute place! They’ll make any sandwich or salad that you want! Sweet Mennonite family runs the place. Christian- themed. The baked goods will make your eyes roll to the back of your head! I’ll be a regular 100%
This is a great place for soup and sandwiches simular to a Mennonite one. There are lots of other things available for purchase also. I really recommend the enchilada meal the you can cook at home it was amazing. I generally get the sweet Lebanon Bologna on sourdough for lunch.
Love the Chicken Salad, get it almost every week. It is expensive but I don't mind paying for quality. But I DON"T WANT TO OVERPAY! I just bought this chicken salad (see picture). The math doesn't add up. On the label it says: 1.080 for weight that doesn't come up to $14.03 at $10.99 per pound. And the receipt has a different weight of 1.276 (which will come up to $14.03). BUT we weighed it at home and the whole amount container and all does not weigh but 1.010. So please check your scales and stop over charging. Until then I will not be back. Reply to response from the owner: The math works out since you did go up to $12.99 per pound; and I can understand the prices going up. It's just the contradictions from the receipt to the price that brought on my concern. Thank you for the explanation.
Very delicious sandwiches made here. Fresh ingredients and homemade bread. Walk in, go to order area in front of deli. There are three types of brown bags to order from. One for sandwiches, one for soups, and one for salads. Lots of bulk items to purchase and a great dessert fridge to choose from. Eat in or take out. Sandwiches are the best price wise deal.
Just wanted to give a SHOUT OUT to Mary Claire. The sandwich she prepared for me today was the absolute BEST.. Thanks. AW😊
Great shop for sandwiches, cheesecakes, pie. Lots of canned items to choose from. Overall definitely a place to go to and check out.
The sandwich was great. However, if it's your first time there like me, there is no guidance. I was very frustrated trying to figure it out. The place was very busy, and it was hard to get a seat. Again, the food was great. Very busy place, just not a relaxing lunch.
What’s not to love!? Besides the embrace of customer service and the excellent foodstuffs, this place feels like home. The owner, Chris, places his competition at a disadvantage by remaining true to his beliefs. The Mennonite values are imbued into this business. If you think that you are in a hurry, don’t drop in. Take your time to look around and be part of the local culture. I recommend...everything! The sandwiches are filling, soups are savory, and candies are sweet. If you get to the register and no one is there, don’t forget to ring the little 🛎 and you’ll be helped in a jiffy!
Our stay at Beacon Bed-and-Breakfast in Hartwell, Georgia was nothing short of magical. The personalized touch they added to our experience with a private breakfast for our anniversary was truly exceptional. The culinary delights served were not only
This is another place I donât know if I should share how great it is. The check in and out are wonderfully easy. The spots have an amazing view and decks with fire rings and picnic tables. So comfortable. Great dog runs. Separation between two let
Always had a good experience eating here miss seeing Kenny when walking in. He would always greet you with a smile. Ness is a great and attentive when sheâs our sever.
Great little spot with a view. Great food and friendly staff. Occasionally they offer live music during the summer months. Great spot to refuel your boat or ride out to on a motorcycle.
