A beautiful evening of wonderful jazz music! Truly a blessing! We were on a Harlem jazz tour and our tour guide, Joseph Cohen suggested we check out this Sunday evening tradition. It was his first time attending also and he really took a chance on bringing us to something that he himself wasn't familiar with. But man, did he really knock it out of the park with this one!!! A truly amazing experience!!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾❤️❤️❤️🎷🎺🎸🥁🎻 Oh... almost forgot. This building (555 Edgecombe Ave.) is also a historical landmark where many greats such as Paul Robeson, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Lena Horn, Joe Louis, Jackie Robinson and many other notable African Americans. Definitely recommend when in New York!
A beautiful, wonderful experience. Light refreshments were served and the performance was free, though a tip bucket for the performers does go around, so bring cash. I was truly blown away by the talent and love present in the room. Thank you to Marjorie and the performers for allowing me to experience such a beautiful moment. 100% recommend if you're looking for some good jazz.
This was such a comforting and beautiful experience. Ms. Marjorie does this from the heart and I appreciate the magic she creates through her art for the us, the audience, and in remembrance of her late son. It’s a free show but they do take cash and Venmo donations so PLEASE do donate because it’s worth the effort they put in.
Honestly this was one of the highlights of our trip to New York. We wanted to see some jazz while we were in the Big Apple and we were not disappointed. You ring the bell for the apartment block, they buzz you through, and then shortly before the start time the indubitably classy Miss Eliot lets you into her home. She was a very gracious host- it wasn’t just that she was outstanding at playing piano (as were all the other performers), or the cereal bars and fig juice handed out during the performance, but the fact she seemed truly honoured that we had come to watch her play, whereas in fact the honour was all ours. When we come back to New York this will be top of our list! (And yes, it is FREE- mad to believe- but donations are appreciated.)
Intimate place and very welcoming host who sponsors these live musical at her residental place. Offered us water & simple snacks. Tickets online and it's one show a week (Sunday)
An absolutely beautiful afternoon of incredible music & energy. If you don't have Venmo bring some cash for the collection. Entry is free but this is well worth putting some money into the collection.
The most magical afternoon I had in new York was spent at Marjorie Eliot's Parlor. What a hidden gem and touching spectacle. Love love love!

The musicians were very talented and the crowd was engaged the entire time. Even on a rainy night, the house was packed and with a line waiting outside ready for the next show. The server was sweet and attentive to the large crowd of people. The seat

Eko is the best property manager Iâve ever met. He is very reactive and provide service as soon as possible. My 4 months tour in NYC is indispensable without his help.

One of the best bibimbaps Iâve ever had! Cozy space so there is not a lot of seating, but would get it as take-out if needed. Will definitely go back!
Great class. All the coaches organize classes to push you but allow you to workout to your level. The workout space is not overcrowded and the environment makes you forget youâre actually running!
Absolutely love F45 midtown location! The gym is huge and spacious, the equipment in great condition , and the instructors rock. Theyâre always very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to injuries/ substitutions and I feel I get a great workout
