What an amazing place! So many real ship parts, intricate replicas, and fascinating history you won't believe you never knew😊 Organized, clean, and massive!
Overlooking the old harbor, this museum traces the history of Dubrovnik as a major trading power in the Adriatic. In the 16th century, the city-republic had one of the world’s largest fleets, with more than 180 ships and 4,000 sailors! The exhibits here are in English and include model ships from that time, making it a nice 1-1.5 hour visit if it is raining in Dubrovnik. Pro-tip: buy the Dubrovnik visitor card, it will grant you free access to this and other museums…plus the epic city walls!
A pretty neat campus to walk around but even more interesting are the views of the Throgs Neck and water from high points. However, the museum was the most enjoyable aspect. Being just a visitor, I came in to find a ghost-like atmosphere probably due to the holiday approaching and so it was a nice and quiet experience reading all the exhibits and wandering around. The police and staff are very nice and helpful as well! Having driven over the Throgs Neck hundreds of times and not ever stopping by had been a regret of mine until today. Highly recommend it to Maritime museum lovers!
Amazing. So much interesting history and artifacts. You can explore old lighthouse and historic fort. Beautiful water views. Loved it.
What a great museum and it's free. If you love anything maritime, this is the place to go. Amazing location, way off the beaten path. L
Beautiful place the view is great
Excellent experience, totally impressed within interactive displays. My father's alumnus.
Look for the old stone fort, after you go under the bridge, and find a parking spot. Signs to museums leave a lot to be desired. They tease you in the beginning with lots of them, but in the end, you need to ask because there are no signs anywhere. But the museum is very nicely laid out and has lots of scale models with lots of detail. Students who pass through are very helpful and knowledgeable about things in and around the area. Do not go on a windy day. Also building a new pier, and piledriver is making a ton of mind-blowing noise that will cause headaches and numbness in your left foot. But great views of New York City, and your ability to escape the smell of pot while by our there.

I live in the area and am very grateful this cafe is here. My mom is a huge pancake lover and she gave a huge thumbs up to The Way's fluffy cakes! Great attention to detail with beverages and just a generally well balanced menu and atmosphere. Defin
I visited the Holiday Train Show with my family, including our 5 year old son. We went today, Christmas Eve, which is a Sunday. The front outside portion of the place is so cool we thought that was the whole thing and there was little to no wait to g
Everyone who works here is so nice and the hotel is very clean. My favorite part was the water fill station which seems like such a simple thing but it was nice being able to fill our reusable bottles whenever we needed to. Right by a subway station
I'm coming back here. The rainy weather doesn't do it much justice, but it was a great experience. Great place to take yourself to clear your head, get inspired, or take a date. Give it a chance on Thursday when it's free, but I don't mind becoming a
I didn't go for a game as it wasn't baseball season but I got the tour you can buy online, and it was very informative and great. They show you the whole stadium including the museum and monument park a site inside the stadium where they have plates
It's very rare to find a good bar in the Bronx. This place is really a hidden rare gem. The food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere is a good vibe with super friendly people.
If I can leave a 10 star review I would!! This is by far the cleanest school/dojo/gym I have seen. Professor Doug is honestly such a sweet individual. His team/family are so wonderful. When you come in you just see everyone focus and just ready to go
Animals and climbing areas . You can crawl through tunnels and see ground hogs, climb a giant spider web, and see how your jumó compares to different animals. At the end there is a petting zoo where you can feed farm animals. A great place to visit
