Mario's - Italian restaurant in Highland Mills - 503 NY-32, USA

My friend and I just had dinner here and it was really yummy! The waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. The steak was a tad tough for my liking, the pasta could have used some salt and acid, something to bring out the flavors more. Overall very much enjoyed our meal. They offer a 4 course meal on weekends.

I was there Thursday I was really disappointed in the quality of the food. Last year we went to Mario’s and it was absolutely amazing. I talked about it all year excited we were working in the area we went back I got the same dish as the year before and was really let down. They didn’t have clams for my dish which was fine I guess but I wasn’t told this until 15mins after ordering so I said it was fine. Then they had no milk for my tea. I probably won’t be back. I highly recommend this restaurant to host a private event and also to dine in. I celebrated my daughters baptism here and I must say everything came out perfect! The food was fresh and delicious. Outstanding customer service and hospitality . Each of my guest left pleased and want to go back to Mario’s restaurant. Aside from my event turning out a success, prior to the event taking place they made the planning and preparations stress free. They setup the place perfectly, answered all of my questions and accommodated all of our needs. I can’t wait to host another event here. I highly recommend. You will not regret it.

Took my girlfriend out to dinner. Read the reviews before coming in. Only to be disappointed by the food. Food tasted microwaved. The only thing I can say is service was good. Garlic knots are a must.

My family eats out often and lately have been disappointed. Mario's is a true hidden gem. TRUE Italian food, the food & drinks AMAZING ! Our server Gabby was so attentive & amaxing as well! We found a great place to enjoy food & family!

A hidden gem since the 80's. Atmosphere was welcoming and intimate. Service was on point. Blackberry Mojito was a generous adult beverage, though it was in need of being sorted out with cheesecloth. Despite that, they were generously priced for a weekend special at 5$! The food was delicious and FRESH. They offer military discounts ONLY to service member orders, not the tab itself. Between the quality of food and service, this place is a hit!

This restaurant makes you feel like home! After my family and I explained that we were after a vegetarian meal, the chef personally came out to reassured of that our food would not have any kind of meat products. He created a vegetable penne ala vodka and it was DELICIOUS! He was hospitable, warm, and welcoming! Thank you for going the extra mile to make our meal special.

OMG Wed. Night Trivia is the best here—we had such a good time and even won some fun prizes! Not to mention the food is delicious ;) Def recommend the scallops and the salad!
