There is a farmers market here every Saturday. I visit here whenever I'm in Charleston. There are many wonderful vendors with the summer months having the most variety. This last weekend, I scored ravioli, pasta, tomato basil sauce, fresh sourdough bread, bagels, a giant soft pretzel, and two jars or Jamaican jerk seasoning. During the summer, there are many vendors selling fresh fruit and vegetables.
Lots of history in this little square. Right in the middle of town with a lot of stuff to do around it. Great place to take a walk or head up King for a night out. Saturday morning you have the farmers market. They have an assortment of local stuff from around Charleston. Fresh fruit and Vegetables etc... Shaded areas and restrooms are available
A beautiful, little piece of green in the middle of Charleston. Very peaceful. There is ample seating. The fountain with its wildlife statutes is unique, and eye catching.
Big grassy park right off the main streets in downtown. Hosts a farmers market on Saturday mornings that is 2/3 good (think jewelry, dog stuff, art) and 1/3 produce. Public restrooms available and some shade.
Tons of history in this little square. Right in the middle of town with tons of stuff to do around it. Great place to meet friends to head up King for a night out.
It's MOJA Time .. the parade kick off was amazing
We love this park. We have been here several
times and love the open area to cool
Down during our walks around town. We have had lunch on the grass while taking a break. We loved being able to play with our puppy and give him a break to play a little. We loved having the farmers market on the weekend. It had a ton of options and vendors. It is always a place we go to when we are in town.
I think it's ok. I am sure there are some history background associated with this square but there isn't much else to see / do as a tourist for this square. When I was there, there were 3 cone shaped Christmas trees set up, and that's about it. I mostly use this as a landmark to tell me I am close to my hotel...
Another community garden with community gathering areas taken care by the Charleston Parks Conservancy. The shade structure catches and stores rainwater to water the garden beds. So smart! Highly recommend a visit or stroll to get out in nature!
Such an amazing place to sit and relax for a few hours. Several people walking, fishing, and hanging out. Great location, just outside of downtown. Plenty of free parking around.

Dog park, skate park and open fields for kicking a ball around. Spring, summer, and fall there's a farmers market. Only thing that could make it better is lighting for after dark.
We used this for a party- had a blast! It had so many activities and even outdoor area. The bartenders were great and so friendly. The space was not only fun but beautiful. Would highly recommend for a party.
It was a beautiful studio unlike any others in town with interesting use of the space to display the artwork. I especially love the elephant in the room upstairs and the swing in front of the art work on the ground floor. I went back a few times duri

We are headed to Charleston next week and will stay at 86 Cannon for the 4th time. We are building a home in the area and have made this hotel our home away from home whenever we are in town. Not only is the property lovely, but the staff is beyond
