Don't waste your time. After many useless attempts to have a reliable, quiet and perfect hydronic heating system installed in Canada, we luckily found Marinetec. Highly skilled, efficient, honest and very much worth while the travel. If you go Kabola, go Marinetec!
Absolutely the best service! My 15-yr old Kabola hydronic furnace was well out of warranty. I'd inherited it when I bought the boat a few years ago. I'd had Costica at MarineTec come out and do some service and upgrades on it. Well, just last Friday night - it died. Costica came right out and fixed it. Even though the failure was in a part of the unit that he did not touch, he repaired it under warranty! As a result, we were able to head out on our summer boating vacation with a nice warm boat! Really enjoying the heat with the cold/wet summer we've been having! Service above and beyond, it really doesn't get any better than that.
We purchased a complete hydronic heating system from Costica at marinetec and installed it ourselves in Cap Sante Marina. Our system has a kabola, 10 air handlers and 7 zones. Costica was a huge resource for us and his advice was a vital part of completing the project successfully. They also stock a pretty wide catalog of various parts in house. This was extremely useful when we came up short on pex parts and extra fittings. Highly recommend you check them out if you are considering a hydronic heating system.
Marinetec has been great to work with. I had several issue with a boat that I purchased and the Kabola Heating system. They came in, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. They also tuned the system and now I have NO carbon build up at my exhaust ..the system runs so clean...I love it
