My husband and I had the best experience for our first time here! We made a reservation for his birthday, we got the best seat for the view of the lake and sunset! Very beautiful and breathtaking! restaurant was very clean and fancy! Very romantic feel and relaxing music in the background! Staff was very friendly and professional! Our waitress was the best and was very attentive and even offered a free drink for husbands birthday! We got our food fast and it was hot and delicious! We loved the boudin won tons and order 2 plates coz they were sooooo good! I also got the rigatoni and chicken and loved it! was a very big portion! My husband got the lobster ravioli and enjoyed it so much I didn’t get a pic coz he ate it so fast! 😝 for dessert we got the bread pudding and it was the best I’ve had! Yum! We will definitely be back! Best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time! Thanks for making our night special! It was worth every penny and worth the hour drive!

Beautiful restaurant with great sunset lake view. Excellent service. Nice menu with lots of options. We had oysters rockefeller & mignonette ala keri oysters. (Raw oysters topped with ceviche) the Rockefeller was good but I was not a fan of the mignonette ala Keri. I had sea bass it was good & nice portion. Jim had the 18 oz ribeye. It was mediocre at best. We finished with key lime pie. It was ok. Not bad but not the best either. All in all it’s a lovely place to dine great service, atmosphere & view. The food is good just not great.
We got there right before sunset. It sits right on the water with chairs, tables and a fire pit. Even the dock has chairs over the water. Wait staff were exceptional. The atmosphere in the restaurant was elegant. The seafood we ordered was fantastic and quite a lot. Had to get a take out container cause we couldn't eat it all.

Meh. The catfish was cooked perfectly and were really good, clean cuts. The crawfish sauces was missing the crawfish (maybe blended up… who does that?) and it was really too salty to eat on its own. It was good with the rice though. Very expensive. Their sister restaurant right next door looks more casual and with better pricing.
It’s good to see a stylish and upscale restaurant in a small town, and Mariner’s offers a nice dining experience. The view of the lake and sunset creates a wonderful ambiance and the food is delicious. If you are looking for an upscale option in the Natchitoches area this would be a great option.
Restaurant was beautiful and so nice. The wait staff was amazing and our server, Slade, was prompt, knowledgable and a great waiter. Food was terrific! Definitely great dining experience. The bar area in main dining room is small, but really nice. The remodel really brought this restaurant up to a five star experience. Sunset on the lake just took it over the top!
AMAZING!!! I can not believe the transformation to the restaurant. The scenery was beautiful overlooking the water at sunset. The staff was very attentive and helpful with menu selection. Our food was delicious. We chose chef specials of sea bass and the beef medallions. Both choices were excellent! Sipping cocktails watching the water as the sun set was so nice. It had been years since we had dined at the Mariner and I am so happy to see it has come back to life with beautiful decor and amazing food.
