We had a Labor Day family trip and chose to stay at this hotel. It was wonderful. Check-I’m personnel was super friendly, and Rachel at the front was a pleasure to deal with! Room was comfy and having access to kids TV channels was perfect! Super convenient location and it’s not noisy at all. Pool was super nice and well maintained. Also, the beach was a great and all around just had a great time. Highly recommend this hotel for families traveling with children. The location is close to everything and super convenient . The playground is also great to wear them out :)

Booked 4 rooms for hubby and I and our 3 kids and there other halves. Two rooms stayed 3 nights, 2 rooms stayed 2 nights. Rooms are renovated, very nice. Set up of motel is very nice also, right on the lake, pool and snack bar in the center. Water activities to rent (water trike, kayak, etc.), kids playground, ping pong table. Good location for walking the strip, you can park your car and never have to drive if you wanted. There is a big hill walking in and out of the resort (might be an issue for anyone with walking issues). 3 rooms were king bed rooms (one room was two queens), king rooms are very small, if staying longer I'd need a bigger room, the 2 queen bed room was a nice size but no closet. King rooms had a closet. Rooms had nice size fridge with small freezer section, and a microwave (we didn't use it but handy to have). Desk needs to have a lamp on it, room is a bit dark for working on the desk. We stayed in August, booked back in May. If you don't mind waiting till the last minute you can get a better deal, rooms were cheaper right before our trip. We enjoyed our stay. :)

We spent a week at the Marine Village Resort the beginning of July to celebrate our twentieth anniversary. The room was spacious, clean and had a mini fridge and microwave which came in handy. Every staff member we met were helpful and friendly. The property was beautiful and we loved the private beach and the daily activities they had planned. You could easily see the fireworks from the beach for Fourth of July. We spent hours just relaxing and watching the boats go by. Our son enjoyed all the ducks on the property. That was definitely his favorite part of vacation. And it was nice being located within walking distance to everything in the village. ||We're already making plans to return next fall for my birthday. Thanks for a memorable vacation, Marine Village Resort!

Great location near lots of walkable restaurants and very good value for the area. Rooms are small but clean and have everything you need. Friendly staff and a comfortable high quality bed and sheets. I would stay here again! Parking is also free which is nice as it can be hard to find parking in lake George Village

Check in was good and staff friendly. This is my 2nd time here. Last time was 10 years ago and a lot has changed for good and not so good. |Room with K and Q was fine, ac worked well and water pressure phenomenal. The rug was filthy. You could not see it but when you walked barefoot or in socks your feet pr socks were black. Washed my feet and walked again just to make sure…yup, it was the carpet. 🤢 i am sure it wasn’t just our room. The family kept their shoes on. I would definitely replace the carpets with something else. I would like to see what i am walking on. Plus it is not healthy for kids playing on the floor. ||There are a lot of beach chairs, which is new since our last visit. I was quite excited to see this until we couldn’t find a spot to sit. Not because they were occupied with people but people claimed them with their floats, towels, sandals, etc. Fine if you are actually in the pool, water or quickly gone to get something on the resort. This was not the case. Not fine to feel like you are entitled and to be selfish. |This was disappointing and it might have been better not to have the chairs and let people bring their own. We left early today and i wanted to take a few pics and i was not surprised of the amount of things still occupying chairs over night. See pictures. My daughter was disappointed she didn’t have a place to sit for an hour on the beach. It was a quick reality check on how selfish people truly are. 😞 if you are reading this, just be a kind human. Our kids learn by our modeling. ||The maintenance workers were doing a great job preparing for the day. Lovely view, lots of things to do, great location. |The blue wrist bands you are supposed to wear so the workers know if you belong on their beach or pool is a farce. Half the people did not have them. They are probably more for the free food they give, which is a nice perk, which we were never there for.

I've seen a few reviews complaining about the size and age of the rooms and the customer service. I have been coming to Lake George for almost 60 years and I know what to expect from most of the hotels there. This hotel is better than most. One review claimed "they are only interested in making money." I beg to differ. This hotel offers free root beer floats on one day, make your own sundaes on another, smores during the fireworks and a hamburger and hot dog cookout with all of the fixings on Sunday night.||In my particular case, my wife had a medical emergency on the morning we were due to check out. Rachel, the general manager, not only called for the ambulance but came to our room to see if there was anything she could do and to direct the ambulance to our location. Initially, she said her staff would finish packing up our stuff, as I had to go to the hospital to be with my wife. It was then determined that no one was due to check into my specific room that day, so Rachel extended my stay with them. My wife was not being discharged for another couple of days, so I asked for any available rooms. It was at this point, Rachel suggested I move to a hotel closer to the hospital as it would be less costly and more convenient. This was not a suggestion from someone who is only looking to make money, but a person who had compassion for one of her customers. ||Rachel, I can't thank you enough for your assistance. You made a difficult situation much easier.

We decided to take a last minute vacation to Lake George. We came across this resort that had availability and decided to give it a try. What a great choice!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it. There is so much to do and the view is absolutely stunning! The staff are friendly and always greet the guests. The close proximity to the village is so convenient! We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. There is so much to do right at the resort. They have the pool, private beach, cornhole, ping pong table, shuffleboard, playground area for the kids, and a fun activity each day! We are looking forward to our next trip to Lake George and will be staying here again!

Please make sure to read all the reviews especially the ones with the poor ratings. This place only cares about money and they are not accommodating at all. It is not worth it for the price either. Poor customer service and cramped room. Check in people were not friendly and condescending when interacting with them. I picked it primarily for the location to the lake but the beach area was just a small patch of land and can definitely see it getting crowded. Room felt like a cheap motel and furnishings were dated. The carpet was dingy and beds were lumpy with rough sheets. There are definitely better options along the strip and will not be returning here again.
