Completely exceeded expectations for an “Inn.” Really nicely remodeled and super quiet. This was a great stay! The second floor is only accesible by stairs (not a complaint just something to note). The staff are all super kind. The breakfast room is small but has plenty of tasty options. Hope you enjoy just as my family did!
Positive: The dedk staff are very friendly and welcoming, the check in was a LATE night check in which went extremely easy, and they still had cookies to welcome us. Due to an early check out to catch an early morning ferry, the desk staff opened their breakfast. Negative: No COMPLAINTS, We will definitely stay here in the future
The MARINA Inn was phenomenal in every way! From the moment we drove up, we were impressed. The landscaping was well manicured. As soon as we walked into the lobby, we were greeted by the agent behind the reception desk. Also the lobby is set up so comfortably, which was so inviting and welcoming. Everything was so clean.
The check-in process was very streamlined. Our room was so clean and so inviting. The amenities were top of the line. The soap, lotion, shower gel, and shampoo and conditioner were high end. There was more than enough to last during our stay. The beds were so comfortable. The towels and washcloths were of excellent quality. They were not thin and rough. Plus, there were two washcloths per person. The cleanliness was exquisite. It is certainly obvious how much pride the entire staff has to provide the best experience for the patrons.
Each staff member was so courteous and willing to assist when we asked questions or needed assistance with directions, etc.
Their continental breakfast was so well presented and was delicious. In the evening they had a cookie jar of home baked cookies. Incredibly delicious!
We plan on visiting Anacortes again and we will definitely be staying at The MARINA Inn!
This was the most pleasant hotel stay we have had in a long time! The staff was professional and super friendly. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was simple but neatly displayed and constantly attended. The coffee was HOT and good and available all day! Bonus - cookies in the afternoon! Our room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
Clean, friendly and comfortable!! These guys were so helpful and patient with us and our room. Our vacation ended up with one of us in the hospital and we were literally going day to day on whether we would be there another night. The staff was so kind! Definitely would stay there again!
Positive: Extremely pleasant, capable staff; spotless room; convenient location and a total bargain. Excellent value. Negative: No elevator and fitness room overheated. Minor quibbles.
This smaller hotel, which may be why it is so comfortable, is located on the main street in town, "Commercial Street." The location a few blocks from the old town area where there are restaurants and bars may be a little far for someone without a car, Parking was free. The smiling receptionist was welcoming, and accommodated our request for a modified check-out time. She also gave good advice about places to eat, even printing out
the restaurant information. The lobby was nicely decorated with comfortable seating. The breakfast room just off the lobby was small but sized right for a smaller hotel. Our assigned room was clean and had a small refrigerator. a microwave, and coffee machine. The compact bathroom had large bottles of shampoo, body wash and conditioner attached to the wall, which just makes sense because you aren't throwing away a barely used small soap bar. The sink is outside the bathing room, which makes it easier for two people to attend to morning needs without bumping into each other. The breakfast choices compare well to the big chains, unless cooking your own waffle is important. WiFi supported streaming a favorite shows.
A point to understand: there is no elevator to the second floor, so if you have big bags, ask for a first story room.
If we come to Anacortes again, we will be looking for a room at this Inn.
Our stay at the Marina Inn was delightful! We were welcomed by Emma at the front desk and she even called us a bit later to make sure everything was up to our likings. Each person we interacted with was very friendly. The Inn was also very quiet. They offered a few nice breakfast items and even had cookies in the afternoon. The location was close to town and we were even able to walk to dinner. We would definitely stay her again.
