Marina Dog Park - Dog park in San Leandro - Marina Park,, Monarch Bay Dr, USA

I love this dog park. The view is amazing all day long. There's a busy trail running along one side of the park with people, dogs, strollers, and cyclists. And a golf course on the other side. There are two sections - one for big dogs and one for small. Both sections have a small covered picnic bench and a few scattered benches. There's large rocks and agility equipment. Lots to do and great location!

Beautiful grounds! We enjoy that our dog can either get exercise in the designated dog play area or on the pavement paths around the marina. Love that it's sand in the play area. Make a great option after rain since it's porous and not muddy. Workout equipment and active areas for humans with a park for kids. If you have a dog, just be a good citizen and clean up their poop. Also, mind your dog manners. We had a dog jump the fence from the path and immediately snap at our ironically docile 10 month old 90lb Rottweiler puppy and the owner was waaaayyyy too non-chalant about it. We'd met the dog before and were impressed by his athleticism. Today we were disappointed in this experience mainly because of the owners lack of response to our polite requests for him to come grab his dog. (It's the black dog with the white patch wearing the studded collar in the picture sniffing the creamy colored dog. The owner is a tall slim guy with long hair.) But the park, aside from un-picked up poop, is awesome. A favorite in addition to Alameda Dog Park, Point Isabel, and Joaquim Miller Park.

This dog park is one of my top favorite parks when it comes to fenced dog parks. You have two sides, one for little dogs and the other one for big dogs. There’s doggie water fountains and doggie bags. You get a great view from the planes landing and also an amazing view of San Francisco!

Large dog side. Gates at opposite ends of the park are excellent. Great views and plenty of seating. Would like to see separate gated entrance for large and small dog area since it can get pretty congested. My Borzoi has a very high prey drive and comes from field trial lines, so crossing paths with small dogs presents concern. As mentioned, not much shade. Certain areas get pretty deep water/mud when it rains, so just be aware. Water fountain area can be inaccessible after rain due to very deep puddles.

Great upgrades added to dog park, wonderful place to bring your dog to play. Seating areas for humans. Water faucets for humans and dogs. One play area for small dogs and another area for bigger dogs. Play area kept clean. Dog owners must pick up after their dogs some bags provided for droppings, but you should bring your own.

Marina DP is divided into two parks: a smaller small-dog park and a long and larger large-dog park. Both sides have fountains for people and dogs and garbage cans. Parking on the weekends can be difficult and I have had to park near the Marina Inn and walk, the walk is pretty so thats not a problem. So far dogs and people have been really friendly. There are public bathrooms near the close parking lot and kid playground, also the dog park has a covered picnic table and 6 benches and several dog obstacle course equipment.

Large dog side - lots of fun and space for fetch. There's no shade so wear sunscreen. Great access to flat trails for a walk after running your dog as well. I also saw maintenance come by and power wash the water fountains for human and dog, so it's good to know they're being cleaned :)

Best dog park in the area. Clean and spacious. Plenty of room for your puppers to run around and play. Some obstacle course items as well to spice things up.
