Office staff was very pleasant and helpful|Room was better than I expected. Modern, clean kitchenette. Could have used some knobs on the cupboards. Some were difficult to open, but we managed. Pool was clean. |We opted out of room service, so can't comment on that. The only reason for the 4 rating was because I couldn't rate 4.5 and because the air conditioner was loud and ran constantly. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed on the top floor of the Sea Spray condos, which was managed by Marguerite Motel. Our third year. As always, the place was perfect for our needs. It's a well-kept property in a great location with a balcony that has a wonderful ocean view. We look forward to year #4!

We had a great time while up in Hampton . The location was perfect to walk to beach and boulevard. Rooms were newly done over and everything was clean and the pool was great. Kids really enjoyed staying there. Staff were very friendly and helpful to any questions.

The Marguerite Motel is my go to place when vacationing at Hampton beach. The rooms are clean, have refrigerators, A/C, cable TV and some have kitchenettes with microwaves, stove tops and dining tables. The outdoor heated pool is a great addition for all ages. There are also picnic tables and outdoor grills by the pool. Prices are affordable. See you next summer Marguerite!

Meh. That about sums it up. I was looking for a place last minute near the beach and with a pool. We had our three girls with us. The room was TINY. A full bed and maybe a queen bed, it was fine, beds were fine, there was sand on the floor when we checked in so that was annoying but fine. We had two towels, got more from the desk, so that was fine. The pool was absolutely FILTHY. We went to swim and we all walked up to the pools edge and there was filthy foam, and hair and debris and the walls of the pool all slimy. I actually went to the front desk and asked if we could check out after the first night since the pool was not possible to swim in. They basically said no (unless they booked their 13 open rooms for that night first). So I asked when they planned to clean the pool and they said they just did but would send someone to clean it again. I watched a couple young guys clean it so the girls swam but the sides were still covered in algae and slimy and more filth and hair floating around the top before too long. Honestly, I’m pretty tolerant and far from a germaphobe but 8/10 would not recommend. The location was great though. One block from the beach in both directions. Oh and the doors do not have deadbolts; there’s “no smoking” signs everywhere, almost as many as there are ashtrays. Everyone was smoking everywhere.

Just wanted to say we enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms clean.pool great friendly staff. Close to everything. . We enjoyed being able too cook on the grill by the pool. See you next year!

Have realistic expectations. This is a two star motel in Hampton. You will not have luxury and renovated rooms. Pros: Staff were very nice and room was clean. I enjoyed the pool and part of it is shady if you want to escape the sun. AC worked well and the fan could be turned up high to drown out the background noise on the street. Cons: If you have a bad back and need a firmer mattress, this is not the place for you. The mattresses were very soft, slopped, and springy. I felt like I was sleeping on an unsupported trampoline. If it wasn’t for the mattresses, I would come back. The TV did not work and the electrical outlet was missing a face plate, which could be a danger for children. However, the staff immediately fixed the issues. There are no towel bars except for one plastic hook in my room. If you use a towel for your body and your hair and have multiple people along with beach towels, you’re going to have towels hanging all over the room and it’s messy and stressful. There wasn’t even a place to hang a hand towel for the sink. That is an easy fix. I hope the hotel remediates. Location: very convenient and walking distance to the beach, playground, and great restaurants. However, if you get a room close to the road on a weekend, be prepared for loud noise up until 2am or later. Please note you could end up on a third floor and there is no elevator. If that’s the case, pack light. I have a bad back and it was not prepared to go up three flights of stairs multiple time. I also booked last minute, so that’s what was available.

Everyone makes you feel so welcome.. they always check on you to make sure that you don't need anything very accommodating all the girls are so pleasant they're right there to help you for anything that you need I don't know all the girls names but they're all so wonderful and the men as well especially Alex I believe his name was Alex he was so accommodating and pleasant thank you so much for a wonderful stay.. Thank you for also keeping the grounds in the pool area always clean. It's just a pleasure to go there thanks again..
