Margie's Bar and Grill - Restaurant in Depew - 5044 Broadway, USA

I was looking for something new for lunch and my wife & I stopped into Margie's... we were not disappointed! It's so unassuming from the outside but the bar area was very nice and the dining room, although maybe a little small, was very clean nice for a lunch spot. We were greeted with a smile from Mary, who was excellent by the way! We asked for some recommendations as it was our first time here even though we've lived not far for nearly 15yrs. She ran through some suggestions and we both decided on the Hot Roast Beef sandwich with fries (my wife a sm & me the lg, both sandwich & fries covered in gravy). I can honestly say that the roast beef might be the best I've ever had! No joke, the beef literally melted in your mouth it was so good! Portions were great. We split some Cajun fried pickles too... yum! Great experience and we will definitely be back! 👍 ..... well, I went back yesterday with some friends and the food was amazing! Service was great. I encourage people to check it out! A few friends got the roast beef sandwich and I got the medium fish fry... YUM!

Yesterday was our first visit to this establishment. We were greeted with warm smiles and hellos upon entering, which is always a nice way to start It was a Sunday afternoon, but with the Bills game he being a late one, there were seats at the bar, lucky for us! The pepper stuffed chicken quesadilla was SO good! We shared that, and a burger. The burger was cooked perfectly with delicious caramelized little bits around the edges! We will definitely be back!!

Neighborhood bar and dining room. Had beef on Kimmel weck/hot wing combo. Good food, not real busy for a Thursday night. Would go again.

I ordered beef and 5 wings special and a single order of wings among other things today so the sandwich comes back with the 5 flats and single comes back with 2 flats and she says I'm sorry I thought you only meant the 5( which is ridiculous btw) then charges me extra for flats when I ended up with more total drums lol. ( the uncomfortable way she handled everything she didn't even deserve the $5 tip I left.... in response to owner I said all flats only one way to interpret that and then waitress said she would see what she could do so I assumed some flats were coming, but charging me for flats when I ended up with more drums is pretty funny,not to mention we haggled over the mishap for 5 minutes should tell you something... very uncomfortable paid good money last wk and good money this wk I did like the food but more trouble than it's worth

Danielle….you should be very proud of yourself. The food is always top notch. Our waitress today (7/21) was absolutely over the top. Her service and personality was beyond awesome. Love you. Still miss you at the 33 tho lol.

I really wanted to like this place more I do. The reviews and pictures online all looked good. The salad was good. The seafood platter and the steak sandwich were mediocre at best. The server was pleasant and attentive. The interior is dated and cramped.

I used to go here years ago for the fish fry. It was the best around Buffalo, in my opinion, and I've had them from pretty much every reputable fish fry joint. Then, they closed for a while, sadly. They opened back up not long ago, and it was my first opportunity to try it again since reopening. It's is just as good as it was before it closed. HUGE fresh filets, and wonderfully flaky. The batter is excellent, also. The sides are made with mayo, and are likewise, excellent! If you're a fish fry connoisseur, you can't pass this place up!
