This was an incredible tour and a must visit. The amount of history, information and just being immersed in all of these floats and designs that's date back to the 30's! It's incredible. Our tour guide was amazing. They even give you King cake!! Yummy! You have to visit! It's not expensive but the parking is. It's one price, $23, regardless of how long you were there so be aware.

My friend and I loved this place! We had so much fun because of the beautiful artwork and the wonderful tour guide Donna-. She gave us all a lot of interesting history and information on building the different floats for the Krewes for carnival events. We both highly recommend if you love art. This is another check off for my bucket list here in Louisiana. Absolutely worth seeing and we both appreciated all of these artists hard work in preparation for the upcoming parades.

Such a cool, behind the scenes experience! You start off with a short film on the history of the company and how they make the floats. Then you get a sample of king cake and go out to the warehouse. You see some in-process props and many, many older props. The guide gives you some more background, then you're free to roam at your leisure. They have a free shuttle that picks you up on Canal or in the French Quarter. Check out Groupon for discounted tickets!

The tour is informative and well worth the Visit. It wasn't pricey, and the tour guide was well informed. And make sure you take a good camera.

It was really interesting to learn the history of Mardi Gras and see where they make all the props for the majority of parade floats. We saw a 15 minute film and were treated to a delicious piece of King cake. Then Mac led the tour. It was so cool to see four sculpture artists at work and a huge amount of old props. Mac answered all our questions. I especially loved the free shuttle van there and back. I highly recommend for any tourist. Buy your tickets on Groupon to save a few bucks.

This is an interesting guided tour with a good video and very knowledgeable staff of an actual prop warehouse and live prop factory for the different floats and parades of Mardi Gras. From old prop, to new sculpture using the newest carving robotic to the update of past prop and reconfiguration for new characters. We spent about half one hour. Greatly recommended for all ages.

This was a "must see" on my wife's list of attractions. I was skeptical. However, I'm so glad we did this. It was amazing! The tour went well, and we were released to explore. This is something few will experience, and none will forget. Don't miss this on your visit to New Orleans.

Very informative and the floats are beautiful! The tour guide rushed us and it was warm during the tour. We received a military discount but the ticket was still $17 each not sure what’s the regular price. The floats are amazing and the artwork was beautiful.
