So much fun! Our boys loved dressing up in all of the different outfits they had. The costumes on display were amazing and so beautiful. The show gave a fantastic history of Mardi Gras as well as some history of NOLA itself. The small party at the end was fun as well. Thank you to everyone there that made sure we had a good time and answered all of my boys questions. I cannot recommend this place enough!

This is a really cool museum with a lot of really interesting things to see. Unfortunately it is temporarily closed and is apparently moving. We stopped by to visit on September 1, 2023 only to find locked doors. The costumes are being packed up and the sign on the door says the are relocating to 318 North Rampart Street.

Absolutely loved it. The costumes are amazing. The guys (I really wish I remembered their names) were really great. The guy who played the xylophone and especially the guy who walked us through the history of Mardi gras parade. So great how we get to try on some of the costumes and head pieces. Overall great experience, well worth the price.

I have been here twice now. The first time, without the tour, was just as fun and informative. The tour was very entertaining and it was great fun trying on the costumes. This place is a treasure! They also have a pretty neat giftshop!

Wonderful little place. I have had this on my list of places I want to go for quite some time now. So many excuses to not go since I live in a suburb. No more. I came on a weekend and I am glad I did. The owner gave so much information about the history of Mardi Gras and what goes into everything. Amazing place. I look forward to recommend this to visitors from out of town and maybe coming back with them.

This place was so much fun. The person who gave us a tour with so engaging and you can definitely tell that he enjoys his work. His love for Mardi Gras was definitely passed on to those in the audience. My favorite part of all was getting to try on some of the costumes. I would definitely recommend this to everyone I know.

Every recommendation to check this out in a visit through NOLA was spot on! The tour was executed perfectly; it’s clear Carl Mack loves their work and shines in showing it off. Truly so pleased with the visit. The museum itself is smaller, but truly a fabulous time. (Plus, who doesn’t love a costume try-on?!) Cheers from NYC
