Beware, this place is just a regular Deli masquerading as “gourmet” establishment. The older woman behind the counter had a horrible attitude. Just like a reviewer mentioned earlier, I was corrected on my pronunciation of “Genoa Panino”. I can understand if she was being funny or informative but her tone said otherwise. We ordered a chicken Caesar wrap and the Genoa Panino. It was nothing special, very fair price to what we ordered but for being on the main Ojai strip and having such a cute entryway I would have expected more. As I was leaving, there was a line of six people and the service was very slow. Woman behind the counter did not like me cleaning up after ourselves. I simply threw out my plates and garbage and she explicitly told me “you think you’re helping but you’re really not”. She then grabbed the cutlery from my hands. I don’t know why it wasn’t helpful, she didn’t give me an explanation. I wish I never walked in here and ordered food. It left a bad taste in my mouth.

Lovely place. I enjoyed their London Fog Latte with steamed almond milk. My friend had the egg sandwich on croissant which I tried and was delicious. I had the lox bagel.which could have had more lox, but the bagel was excellent. The server was a hoot and so friendly. 😄 Really enjoyed coming here.

Food was EXCELLENT. May have to wait a bit to get said food but its because perfection takes time. The woman behind the counter was so fun. She had a great sense of humor and knew exactly what was good. 100% reccomend.

Fantastic little restaurant! The food is always amazing and reasonably priced for the quality you’re getting. The two gals who run this joint are wonderful, I love the fun spirit & vibe they have. Bravo!

The only good thing about this place was the food, but the people in charge did not give a damn about anybody, but themselves, rudest people I have ever met when it comes to purchasing items from them. So happy to hear that this place is closing and will be under new managing. I hope the old owners read this, as a lifelong local of this town, I tell everyone I know not to go here. Duces and stay out of the customer service

Go to any deli but here!! Unless you want to be left with a horrible taste in your mouth from BOTH the food and the incredibly horrible btch that works there. Their deli sandwiches are pricey for being they literally taste like nothing, don't waste your money!! That combined with the old lady that works there was btchy to EVERYONE. Idk if she thinks its cute or it's her version of having a personality, but mixed with them selling the most BLAND sandwiches ever (you could make one better at home that actually has TASTE) might make this the worst thing in Ojai. DONT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY. TRY A REAL DELI SANDWICH ELSEWHERE! If there food is this bad, you'd think they'd be trying to make up for it with customer service. They don't. Your establishment should think about firing the rude old lady that nobody likes and drives away your customers I'm sure on the daily. Just a thought. Wish I had dropped their food on the floor and walked out with paying. Ignore the positive reviews on here, it's most likely bots or family of the owners.

Delicious dinner they serve on Fridays and Saturdays! Everything was great and I can taste chef's passion to food. She is also an artist who sells paintings at the restaurant.

This is such a special place. Literally everything I’ve had here is delicious. A seemingly simple sandwich and I’m like “this is the best thing I’ve ever eaten.” Prices are also much more reasonable than other similar spots nearby. A $10 sandwich here would be $17 somewhere else.

We saw Toad The Wet Sprocket in the Libbey Bowl. It's in the heart of Ojai, CA, in the middle of a sweet park. They sell wine, beer, and water. It's pretty and green. The concert venue was comfortable and everywhere you sit is a good seat. Dancing is
