Food outstanding, waiter outstanding (really outstanding), atmosphere in the private room of a ten table restaurant the best. The chef and owner, well he is a guy named Marcello with a passion for what he is doing. The shortrib I had was cooked to perfection - it must have been cooked for a long time. Everything was great and frankly the prices are quite reasonable given the quality of this restaurant.

Great service and food. They have a large selection of wine. The veal chop was excellent and very big. The table side caesar is also a must try. Marcello ristorante is definitely with a visit. Top notch quality.

We were pleasantly surprised. From start to finish our experience there was over the top. The wine list was impressive, the starters ample and tasty, and the food was great. We all had different menu items and loved them. The service couldn't have been better. Every need was taken care of without persistant hovering found in steakhouses. All in all a must.

Remarkable dining experience. Freshest ingredients coupled with masterful preparation equals a fantastic evening. Make sure you make this restaurant your must do in 2023. Reservations a must. Usually a 2 week wait.

Visiting from St Augustine, and this hole in the wall is phenomenal ! We're originally from NY /NJ, and this place is like home. Delicious!!!!

The man is a wizard. service is incredible. This is the spot I would drive across the country for the black truffle pasta. Do not let the bad reviews fool you, this is the real deal

We were escorted to the back room - which is nice, but we didn’t request for our party of 6. So we weren’t in the restaurant per se. Disappointed by the lack of “tack” (professionalism) by our waiter overall. All he seemed to care about was how much wine we would buy - very, very pushy. It was actually embarrassing. We had to request music 1/2 way through our visit - a courteous waiter would have set the atmosphere right from the start. What does the customer need to have a good experience tonight - not how much wine can I push. He also gave me a hard time about cutting the head off of a whole fish I ordered. A mistake with the appetizer order and a huge mistake on the bill. I could have stayed home and had a better time. Won’t be back.

I can’t say enough good things about Marcello. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive, each dish was unique and delicious, prices were very reasonable and we can’t wait to go back.
