We are making sushi date with my girlfriend, we visited many places in new jersey and we found our favorite 40 minutes away in this sweet place, everything was perfect, the staff and the flavor were perfect, we couldn't get enough and we ordered a new one without stopping.
I ordered 10 rolls for a special family occasion. I wanted some rolls to be cooked and paid an extra $3 for each cooked roll. $3 extra for each cooked role seemed a lot, but I said okay hoping it was going to turn out good. Sadly, not what I expected at all. When my order came some of the cooked rolls were basically no longer rolls; they kept falling apart. The rolls were covered with a lot of white crunches so we couldn’t even see the rolls. some of the rolls weren’t even sliced properly. It also came in 20 minutes late. When I called to ask about why it took longer than the time frame I was given, I was told that my order was hard to make and that was the reason. Totally disappointed considering the money I paid. Not a pleasant experience at all and will not order again.
The restaurant by itself not big only for few 3-4 tables with average interior. Sushi here always delicious and fresh. We ordering time to time because close to our house and fresh. Might be best in the area but my wife once ordered one type of sushi for takeout and discovered other one only at home, also used to be better price now on weekends one roll is almost $7. That’s why giving only 4 stars and recommending as good sushi place!
Pros: - Good price. - Most people order to go or deliver so there are usually empty tables available for walk-ins. No wait which is good. - The two owners or staff are friendly and helpful. - The rolls are big and full of ingredients. They don't use too much rice so when I bite into it, the flavors explode nicely, so delicious. Cons: - I recommend rolls more than sashimi because the fish is not the freshest. Since most of their customers prefer to go or deliver, I can see why the fish was kept frozen to withstand traveling distance and time. However, for dine-in, I feel like I was chewing a sashimi icicle. There are chunks of ice in every slice of sashimi. - No hot tea, no free tap water. If you want water or drinks, they only have soda and bottled water.
Ah-mazing. Staff is super friendly, food presentation is great and taste is even better. With just a few tables and cozy ambiance, it's like having the best sushi right at home. It's also BYOB so you can have your drink of choice with your sushi. This is a pic from my latest visit. Can't wait to go back!
Sushi is fresh, the Alaska and yellowtail rolls’ my fav, and the vanilla ice cream was so delicious! The salmon teriyaki had nice flavor but a bit dry, however they made up for it by serving it w yummy noodles. Definitely recommend this place- if you have a large group, order takeout, place is small.
We’been coming here almost over 10 years. Great people, great sushi and rolls.
I recently started eating sushi and so far eating from here has been good. Got delivery it was fast, and the sushi and dumplings really delicious. Great pricing too! Thank You.

While mourning the closing of "A Touch of Spice", the only Indian restaurant in our area, we found Gulab, a BYOB establishment that had opened in a quiet section of Palisade Avenue in Cliffside Park, NJ. And what a great surprise it's been so far! A

Amazing. The food, service, ambiance and prices! Dinned in and had a very good meal. The crazy falafel was very flavorful and filling. The zatar and cheese bread was oh so good to pair with It. The lentil soup was so warm and comforting; no better wa
We dined at Saigon Bistro tonight, the most dish impressed us immensely was shaken Cubed-Steak, the steak was tender and had a remarkably smooth texture. We felt a bit chilly when we just came in, and one of the staff members promptly noticed our dis
