This place is LOVELY and the food is incredible. When I walked in the smell was so good I felt instantly hungry. I got the Saturday special and I’ve never had anything like it. It was comforting, meaty, smoky, and tasty like a hug in a bowl. So good. I’m so glad I came here.
My first time here I walked in on a fluke. I was headed for Caramel Crisp Cafe, when I saw the specials on the menu and the Swordfish stew they had on special that Friday really caught my attention and I just had to try it! It was delicious, a generous helping of swordfish and a hearty meal overall. It was on that day I found out that swordfish eats like a pork chop.
Appetizers to desserts - everything is so tasty, homemade goodness. We ordered the family plate, chicken stroganoff, sautéed collard greens, croquet appetizers, hibiscus tea with a splash of passionfruit, and an assortment of desserts, including one of the best flans ever.
AMAZING Feijoada! So creamy and so tasty! For a Brazilian this means HOME! So, if you would like taste something from Brazil, definitely go there! I don’t have pictures but I recommend Coxinhas (calabresa and frango) (they also have gluten free option), Cod ball and kibe. They also have family size food box that you can bring home and eat during the week!
We absolutely love Mara's! Not only is the food amazing, but so is Mara! The Coxinas are a must! Can't wait to stop in and get more great eats!
Everyone loved their food. Shrimp with coconut sauce and the chicken stroganoff were the favorites.
My sister and I have been trying different cultured foods and decided to give Mara’a a try. The food, the drinks, desserts, and service was phenomenal. The feijoada, linguica, hibiscus and passion fruit drink mixed were my favorite but I enjoyed it all. My nephew who is 1 approves!
Love Mara's food. 100% authentic Brazilian cuisine. Be prepared to leave in a food coma because everything is so delcious!
