Maple Tree Inn - Motel in Whitehall - 323 S Mears Ave, USA

We stayed at the Maple Tree Inn for our family reunion. It is a charming small inn on a tree lined street just a black or so from White Lake. The owner communicated well with us, but there is no check in process and not always an employee on premises. It seemed to cause confusion with some of the guests. The rooms were super clean with decent amenities. We had a classic room which hasn't been remodeled and it was a little tired, but, as I said, very clean and the bed was comfortable. We will stay again next year! We also rented the retreat room which was perfect for our reunion. We would definitely recommend that for a gathering of, perhaps, 25 - 30 or fewer? All the relatives were impressed!

Wonderful! Staying multiple times this summer renting 1 to 3 rooms even rented the house! Rooms always clean and well stocked. Sally and the staff very responsive to all are questions or needs. Maple Tree inn is our go to location in Whitehall. Thank you for a great summer! Amy

Cute room was clean and smelled very fresh when you walk in. Bed was comfy. Situated in beautiful neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay. Only complaints are the fact that there is no coffee in the room. Also no ice or cups are available. Need cups in a room so people can take their morning medications.

The Midnight room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The team made it especially easy to make reservations, check in and check out. It was a perfect location and an exceptional stay.

We wish we'd had more time to really enjoy the area, but for the 2 nights we did spend here, we loved this inn! They've done a lot with the space to make it both really functional and nice -- the rooms are beautiful and spacious. We had our 6mo old daughter with us and it was a good setup -- we had plenty of space for her to roll around on the floor :). Accessing the room was easy and quick -- given our uncertain arrival time, it was nice to have a flexible contact-less check-in. When we had a very minor issue with the sink, they responded immediately and came out to resolve it. We mostly drove during our stay, but found it is a 20ish minute walk from a few cute places to eat and grab coffee, plus a lot of other businesses that were only a few minutes' walk away that we just didn't have the opportunity to check out. Would recommend to anyone who finds themselves in the area! Thank you for being great hosts!

First time staying here under new ownership. This place is STILL a delight! Comfortable beds, clean, parking right at your door if other guests do the same and not just grab the first spot they come to. New coded door entry is a great upgrade. No keys to lose. Lovely garden. 2 blocks from Pekadils- great food and ice cream. Refrigerator and freezer in room. TV but tv service a bit screwy. On site hostesses are very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to main street and White Lake. You will enjoy your stay!

I didn't need anything while we were there....BUT it was clean and BEAUTIFUL and fresh, modern and comfy. quiet, walking distance to town. There was a fridge, microwave, dishes a setting area at the counter, wish we had one more night....but it was all we had this time. We stayed in the midnight room, 22. IF I could change anything....it would be marking the driveway for cars to park in their room area. Thanks for the Sunset, we live on the sunrise side....The Edmonds'

The Maple Tree is a frequent stay of ours. Our family has a boat in a nearby marina, but we always stay at the Maple Tree for comfortable, clean, affordable accommodations. The location is fantastic - very close to downtown, and very close to beautiful lakeside sidewalks. Management does a wonderful job communicating, and check-in/check-out could not be easier. I can't recommend highly enough!
