Maple Motel - Motel in Newington - 2151 Berlin Tpke, USA

The Maple Hotel is great!! My room had been recently updated. Spent 6 days and every thing was perfect. Close to dining options and 26 min from the airport. The Berlin turnpike is full of small motels like the Maple but this place was recommended by a local and it did not disappoint.

WOW!! What a lovely little place. The room was EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN, not a speck of dust or anything in the bathroom, toilet seat was spotless. No odors in the room. The beds are quite comfy and very well made. As a former housekeeper, I'm impressed!!! These sheets are properly tucked lol. Full size fridge and quite a bit of space in the room. Neat and tidy outside, no "riff raff" etc. I read that some rooms(efficiency) have stoves and all. The staff keep a tight check on who comes in, no visitors allowed. I can see how some people might not like that, but for my personal piece of mind etc I think it's ok. I would definitely stay here again.

In the big scale, it’s a pretty average motel. Although, when compared to the other motels on the turnpike, this establishment stands up pretty well. On the outside, it looks like it will be the same quality-that runs up and down this street. I couldn’t have been more wrong. When I walking into the room I was pleasantly surprised. It was very spacious and clean. It didn’t have a foul stale cigarette scent. In fact, there were no scents at all. The furniture was fairly modern and the TV was a flat screen. Lastly, the bathroom was spacious, with good water pressure. I normally do go for the motels on the pike because the are so sleepy, with poor reputations. However, this is a rare exception to that rule. If you have to book something in this area, then this one is definitely a possibility for the short list. ✌🏾

My boyfriend and I have been here for a few days now, and every effort has been made to make us feel comfortable. The landscaping is gorgeous in and of itself, which speaks to the care taken to set this place above others on the Berlin Turnpike.||||We originally attempted to reserve an efficiency room, but there was only a regular room available upon our arrival -- that was fine, as we were able to transfer over the moment we asked to the next day. ||||This is a VERY CLEAN motel! Do be aware that the smoking rooms DO smell like smoke and have the "signs" of smoking on the floors and beds -- burns and smoke residue -- but if you burn some incense or if you smoke yourself it isn't an issue at all. The efficiency smoking room smells a lot less like smoke than the other room, perhaps because of how much newer it is.||||Every room has a fridge and microwave. Minor things like soap and a small packet of "conditioning shampoo" are included, but this place works beautifully as a "home away from home" type deal -- bring your own toiletries, some homey items like candles, and it's a perfect place for an extended stay.||||We've been keeping the place clean every day before we leave, and we've always found things lovingly put away and cleaned even more when we return. Today there was a little dish towel set out for us in the kitchen -- whoever cleans the rooms must have seen how much my boyfriend and I have been cooking. It brought a smile to our faces.||||The best part is this -- we woke up this morning to some work being done next door (not too loud or anything, it was just happening when we woke up) and we ended up leaving about an hour later. After a long day out visiting my family, we returned, and lo and behold -- our room was updated after we left with a brand new FLAT SCREEN TV and NEW WINDOWS!||||Everything that was on top of our old dresser was gently set aside, to the point where I wasn't even freaked out about someone touching my stuff -- everything here is like there's a bunch of friendly ghosts running a lovely little place. I never see any of the staff, but somehow everything is being so well-kept.||||This place is perfect for long-term stays. You get used to the busyness of the Berlin Turnpike, the Dollar Tree down the road has all the kitchen supplies you could need, there's a cute farm market nearby with fresh veggies during harvest seasons -- Perfect and incredibly affordable at the weekly rate.||||I'd rate higher if I could! I love this place!

This place is awful. It's the sketchiest motel I've ever been too (which is saying something). The floor is sticky in the bathroom, the furniture is falling apart, the bed was covered in someone else's pubes, and the smoke detector in my room is missing. I complained to the woman at the front desk (who has been anything but approachable since I got here, and who lied about their rates over the phone). She refused to accept that anything was unclean in the room and refused to replace the smoke detector. The fire marshal was contacted and he contacted her. 30 minutes later, I got a replacement. I tried to get out of the room. She won't let me, citing their sign (which is not very obvious on the wall of signs) that states you can only switch rooms 5 minutes after checking in, and at no time can you get a refund. Also, don't believe their claim that there is free wi-fi. From my room (131, which is quite close to the office), there is no wi-fi signal at all. Oh, and the heater in my room is useless. I've been here for over 2 hours with the heater set on high, and it's not at all a temperature that would allow for wearing anything less than a jacket. Save your money and go to a cheaper, safer, cleaner motel like Motel 6. Don't make my mistake. ETA: my room's fridge comes complete with someone else's food, yet I'm expected to believe they thoroughly clean the rooms prior to each guest's stay.

its really nice inside they have kitchen a stove sink and full size refrigerator. The bathroom was really nice. I had a really pleasant time

I've stayed at the Maple Motel at least 80 days this past year. There are a LOT of accommodations on the Berlin Tpke, this one is the cleanest: BY FAR!!! They are also very kind - especially the owner, Jim I highly recommend it! Tammara.

This place is awful. I called ahead to get a room for a week and upon arrival I was denied a room. The person who was behind the desk hid. I then picked up the phone on the desk to call to find out what was going on. The person on the other end of the phone lied and said they went to the store and might not make it back for hours. I could tell they were just rude and did not want to do their job. I would boycott this place because they are horrible, rude, and inconsiderate. They inconvenienced me greatly and waisted a bunch of my time.
