Mansion House Motel - Motel in Buffalo - 295 N Main St, USA

We stayed at Mansion House in 1994 on our way to Yellowstone. We stayed in the main house upstairs in a very small room with its own bath. At the time, the owners were great, and they let us park our new car under the awning because of a hail storm. It was truly an experience, a memory we will never forget, so glad the Chain Hotels along the hwy was full and a receptionist told us about this place. We hope to stay there again when we return to Wyoming.

Nice, older motel, easy walking distance to downtown Buffalo. Contact-less check in worked well. Comfortable king size bed. Clean, yellow tiled bathroom. Price was reasonable. Decor was all things Longmire! Quiet despite being on the main road. Would stay there again

Don't expect too much, this is an average motel at best. On the plus side, I like the "no check-in" feature where you can reserve online and a door code is furnished to your phone. And, I found the room to be quite clean and the bed comfortable.||That said, the entire property and furnishings are quite old and dated. I was not able to find an ice machine at the facility. Of the 16 units I'm certain only two were rented the night I stayed, and we were assigned rooms next to each other. Our neighbors had 2 dogs and while the guests were polite and attempted to be quiet, they were in and out of the room frequently and a bit noisy. I found that somewhat annoying and it could have been avoided by separating us by a few doors. While I fully understand this is "tourist" season and expect higher than normal rates, in my opinion the value received for the price paid was unsatisfactory. |I doubt I will return in the future.|

We stayed here while attending a family reunion and could not have been happier with our accommodations. We rented two rooms, each had a cute Wyoming theme - we were in the Longmire Room and our kids in the National Parks Room. Both were immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable, with fast wifi, mini fridges, and great water pressure in the bathrooms. Happy to support this family-owned gem of a motel any time we are in town!

The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Screen door on the room and chairs on the porch outside made it quite homey. I've seen a couple reviews calling the decor outdated but I thought it was charming; certainly not your standard chain motel where you have to pause to remember what town you're in because it looks like every other motel room. We loved it and will absolutely be back as we travel through Wyoming every couple of years.

This is a great motel! We stayed one night in Buffalo for our anniversary and to enjoy the music jam at the Occidental. Our room was very clean and spacious; king size bed was comfortable; nice fluffy towels; easy no contact check-in. The location is downtown so we could walk everywhere. Highly recommend!

The Mansion House Motel is a great place to stay! The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure your stay goes well. We rented 3 rooms for the six of us that were on a motorcycle trip. When we got there, we were drenched from riding in the rain. The owners gave us a laundry basket for our wet clothes and dried them for us and moved their truck and asked if we wanted to park our motorcycles under their overhead awning area, which we did. Rooms were clean and well taken care of. Will definitely stay here again. Bonus - their cat Norman is very welcoming and likes to hang out with the guests.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mansion House Motel! As mentioned in many other reviews, the rooms are very clean and well set up for a comfortable stay. The proximity to downtown Buffalo, The Jim Gatchell Museum and other attractions of Buffalo is just a short 3min walk. Super easy process to reserve a room and check out. Do yourself a favor and check out a local motel run by friendly locals!
