10000/10! Been craving Pinoy foods and this restaurant doesn’t disappoint! The food are authentic and really really great! Amazing dinuguan too! I miss it so muchieee! It will remind you of the PH! Highly recommended! I just wish that you open sooner like 9 am but Lunch is lunch! Dinayo pa talaga namin to. I like it sm! We enjoyedddd the fooooood! A friendly advice to gutom customers: don’t take too long picking from the menu because they still need to cook it and it takes time so order lang ng order chz
What a great local find for something different, delicious and healthy. Plenty of combinations of veggies with beef, pork, chicken and prawns. Tasty sauces. Rice accompanied all selections. Casual Philippine-themed informal dining atmosphere.
A great authentic Filipino experience. It’s rare to find a Filipino restaurant anywhere, let alone a good one. The kare kare was amazing, and the halo halo was something to come back for too. You know it’s gotta be good when you hear the cook yelling from the back in Tagalog.
The atmosphere is friendly and I was served by two kind ladies— I was a little sad that everything I wanted on the menu was out of stock, but they generously surprised me with something of their choosing at my request. It tasted just like my Filipino friend’s homemade meals.
Authentic Filipino food indeed. Great food and service. Brandon is super friendly. He gave us tips on the best days to come based on delivery and when we mentioned we live pretty far away, he relayed just to give him a call and he’ll set out order aside and time it with our arrival. They deliver food too but didn’t inquire about it. I assume frozen. Two dishes with lumpia came out to $35. Seemed pricey at first but the portions are pretty large. We’ll be back! 🤙
1. Read the sign for instructions. 2. Sit yourself down after you find a clean, non sticky table. 3. Find a menu 4. Get up and order at the counter 5. After you order, get your own plates and spoons as instructions state. 6. Get your own utensils. 7. Expect to wait long for your food. Order Tocilog. See before and after picture. Should speak for itself.
Meanwhile yesterday! 🎶 Reunited and it felt so good! 🎶 met up with. Met up with foodie friends at Manila Bay Express where once again mama Norma Thayer did her magic! Food for the Soul! A full on party for the tastebuds. So many fantastic flavors!!! Having spent my first year in the us with my aunt by marriage who is Filipina, we ate yummy, delicious food daily! Yesterday just took me back to the family dinning table. The “Crispy Pata” AKA pork leg is ISANLY delicious crispy skin on the outside, tender and juicy inside. The grilled shrimp was SWEET and SMOKY, the Sisig DIVINE, the grilled pompano SUCULENT, the pineapple HEAVENLY and the lumpia well, I need a truck full of them. #friendsarefamily #eatlikealadyshould
We are not from kansas city, but happenned to be there that day and was looking for place to have lunch. So we google and found this place. Since they just opened, nobody was there but one table who they already served and us. The menu i saw on google that other people took was different than the one they currently have so be aware. They must've changed it (which i didn't knew that time) so i kindly asked for clarification if their economy bilao comes with veggies and the guy taking order answered sarcastically "do you see it in the menu" i didn't bother explaining to him that i saw different menu online because of the way he answered. In regards to food, the bbq was good and the sisig was actually chicken not pork but i like the taste. Crispy pata was also good. I didn't know what "broasted" chicken was and was disappointed that its fried chicken. It taste okay but not what i expect them to serve in a "bilao" since im looking for authentic filipino food. I highly suggest to the owner to change it to grilled chicken or at least have that option for customers to pick. For some reason its early in the morning and they already didn't have the lechon kawali that suppose to come with the bilao we ordered so instead they double the portion of the fried chicken. I appreciate the gesture, but i wish we were asked what we wanted in replacement for what they were lacking (lumpia would've been better replacement). The pancit was good but looked so plain ( didn't have much sahog- veggies /chicken). The kutsinta was not good, it was kinda hard and grainy and didn't even come with shredded coconut on top considering its $1.50 each piece. Halo halo was okay, the banana they put were hard. Food was a little overpriced in my opinion with no service. It's mainly a self serve eatery. You pay first in the counter then you get your own utensils, plates, water, condiments and even to go boxes at the end. They did not have that sign anywhere nor did the guy who took our order explained it to us. We figured it out ourselves. Highly suggest that you guys atleast explain that to your customers and not assume that they know it. The table after us was waiting for a long time for someone to come back to get them plates and other stuff. They were older folks and probably used to being served. Not everyone who walks in your door have eaten there before. You should always treat everyone like how you would treat them when they first visit your restaurant, (even if they are returning customers), welcome them and give them reason to come back. I still left a tip in their tip jar afterwards just to support my fellow Filipinos.
My best friend (who also owns a bakery) picked up some goodies from Katâs and surprised me with a taste test session of them today because she knows I am eating low carb now⦠and the items were all amazing! I will be back or will be sending orde
It's hard to get a give from me but this place was the BEST! I love the twist on every dish. I had a rueben with smoked sausage-excellent. The coleslaw was like nothing I've ever tasted. I got a sugar cookie that had flavor other than just Sugar. I l
A small Charming little Donut shop. But donât blink while looking for it or youâll pass it by. The Service is Pleasant and the Donuts taste much better than Franchised Donut shops
This is a great park for the kids!! Only thing I didn't like was the fact there wasn't any swing for little kids under the age of 3 years old. Other than that my kids had a blast!! Love the colorful butterfly wings that gives the park color when the
Really great Mexican restaurant. We had very good dishes, and look forward to another visit soon. Didn't remember to get our main dishes, will update later with another visit. Really glad to find this so close. 3-24 had a burrito/ enchilada combo,
I love the ladies that work at the front, theyâre always so nice and we love to say hi. Dove in the kids zone is so sweet with the kids, and I love that I can trust her to take good care of my kids while I work out in the mornings. The workout equi
