Manhattan Express Pizza - Pizza restaurant in Amsterdam - 4908 NY-30, USA

I drove 40 minutes to get dinner from here so if that doesn't tell you that this place is worth the trip, nothing will. The pizza is so reminiscent of Little Italy in NYC. It's a cozy, friendly atmosphere and the people that are behind the counter are helpful and wonderful. Hands down this is a great "pizza and more" place to go and grab a bit to eat. Highly recommended!!

Ordered takeout last night and this place has surely stepped it up a notch or two in the last couple of years. I mean the pizza was always good, but last night's pie was awesome. I ordered the chicken broccoli pizza and an order of mild Buffalo wings. The pie was topped with garlic oil, mozzarella, pieces of crispy chicken cutlet, and broccoli. Excellent topping distribution. Nothing overwhelmed the pie by itself which is hard to do with Gaelic and broccoli. The crust was super crispy and the pie was still piping hot even after a 15 minute trip home. The wings were also super crispy and well sauced and not too spicy for the kids. Everything was very flavorful and there were no leftovers. Would recommend this place to anyone. Bravo, Manhattan Express Pizza! Well done! 👏

There food is good but they lost a good customer tonight. I don't care how good their food is. I will never go back. I had to stop in and order my food in person. They said 20 25 minutes. I said okay no problem, I'll be right back. I came back in a half hour later and went up to the register and they completely ignored me while people stood up or came next to me and ordered. I finally asked them about my food. They said it would be another 5-10 minutes and I said okay and I sat down and waited almost 20 minutes being completely ignored and I finally had enough. I stood up and started to walk out and then they finally told me my food was just almost done and I Just continue to walk out and ignore them. They were very rude and showed total disrespect for a good a customer.

I typically do not leave reviews, however I feel compelled to share my experiences here. I like this place because the pizza is decedent, it is close and my daughter loves pizza. Tonight I called in my order for picking and was told that it would be ready in an hour. We showed up an hour and 5 minutes later and paid for our plain large pizza. We were told they would check to see how much longer, and then we waited another 35 minutes to get our order. This was the 3rd experience like this I have had out of 5-6 visits here in the last year. There seems to be a general lack of organization with the ordering process, and a priority given to online or delivery orders. I am hopeful that someone that can make a difference sees this review and makes some positive changes with this place so the expectations set to customers are delivered upon.

I ended up getting food poisoning. I drove an hour to someones house and decided to order from here. I was great the whole day until I ate here I ended up puking all the way home puking in their bathroom my car and my own house took Pepto was better the next morning. Everything ordered was vegetarian . Staff was friendly though.

Had the ziti pizza here. It was good but could have used a little more ricotta and tomato sauce

I ordered the pizza, wing, and soda special and didn’t get my soda. When I called they said it would be right here and it’s been 30 minutes. When I called back this girl laughed at me (she sounded like Butthead) and acted as if I was being rude or annoying because I wanted my soda. I used to be a loyal customer but my money will go elsewhere from now on!
