Aug 2023 Hadn't been to the lakefront in a while. We did a quick spontaneous pitstop there yesterday evening. They now have the kids play area is canopied and a few more benches but not enough. It was a nice treat. ............ Very relaxing spontaneous Sunday evening on the lakefront with my son.

**Mandeville Splash Park: Where Sunset Views and Family Fun Meet!** Mandeville Splash Park is an absolute gem nestled along the picturesque Mandeville Lakefront. The combination of breathtaking sunset views and a wide range of activities make it a must-visit destination. The sunsets here are nothing short of spectacular. The park's location on the lakefront offers unobstructed, front-row seats to Mother Nature's evening show. Mandeville Splash Park has something for everyone. The biking, jogging, and walking trails provide a great opportunity to stay active while taking in the beauty of the lake. For the little ones, the swings and slides are an endless source of joy. What makes this place even more special is the sense of community it fosters. It's a gathering spot for families, joggers, cyclists, and friends looking to unwind and connect.

One of the greatest spots to play Pokemon Go! You have 3 Pokemon Stops and tons of Pokemon to catch. If you have the fever to go Pokemon then this is a great spot! Pop a lucky egg and a stardust star and let the dogs roll in!

I'm Hesitant about giving this a 5 star review...only because I'm selfish..and love the quietness of the area at sunset. It's an oasis from a beautiful...but troubled New Orleans... Model: Karen A. Photos: JA

Gorgeous and diverse. The park has just about everything you could want for a day. It sits on the corner of Lakeshore drive and Jackson Ave. Typically ample parking. Big pavilion next to the main lot that sits right on the bulkhead, which runs a good distance out along the water. The other side has several areas for kids to play all sorts of things. The areas have fences along them protecting lil ones from the street and parking areas. Bicycle, walking, jogging, and pet friendly. Well maintained. It can get busy with the gorgeous sunsets and is the spot to go to for them. Half mile up the street there are quite a few nice restaurants. There's also a nice public boat ramp.

Two different playground areas for different aged kids, shaded spot for sitting, great spot to watch boats coming and going and a beautiful view of the lake.

This is a really beautiful place. I've been here a few times and it always takes my breath away. You can watch the sailboats, the sunset, or just people watch and trust me, there are some interesting people around here. One time there was a fellow in turn of the century attire standing on the beach playing a fiddle. He legitimately might have just been a ghost, but it's still cool. Also there's a park for the kids or whatever.

We were in the Mardi Paws parade again this year. Such a great cause, so much fun, lots of floats, different themes every year, lots of throws, lots of adorable pets with their human families great fun whether you are tiny baby to a well learned adult. Always the Sunday after fat Tuesday. Mark it on your calendars. Btw, lots of play area for younguns

Was looking for good and inexpensive pizza and found exactly that! Crust was crispy and flavors were great - not too much sauce or overloaded with toppings. Probably the best pizza I’ve had on the north shore. I grew up in New England where cheap a

This state park is a treasure. A huge, brick pool house stands as an reminder of the state's history . Reportedly the park once had a public swimming pool, but filled it in response to desegregation . Now there is an odd span of grass and no swimming

Great place! Owner selected ingredients. Great, friendly, personable service. The crawfish tasted great, but the reason we came here from Chalmette was the muffuletta and it impressed me.

This State Park rarely disappoints! The sunsets here are the best in the area. The campground, minus the deer droppings, is always kept clean.
