Mandarin - Chinese restaurant in Del City - 4401 SE 29th St, USA

Do not go here! This was the worst experience I’ve had at a Chinese place in 3 acts. 1) we ordered food and they messed it up. We ordered 2 sesame and 1 Hawaiian chicken, with a couple of other things. They somehow put 3 Hawaiians down, so we called back to ask to make them right. 2) when we pointed out that they put it in wrong, and the guy admitted as much, they then told us they’d replace it IF we paid for it. After I explained that no, you admitted you did it wrong and should make it right, a woman got on the phone and began arguing and yelling at us. We had to go back and forth for minutes before they finally agreed to make it right (they weren’t thrilled and hung up on us) 3) when we finally got the replacement food, it was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I don’t say this lightly, but the sesame sauce was bad and runny, the chicken tasted like it had gone bad, and the rice was just inedible. I wouldn’t feed this to a dog, or even someone I hate. Please, do yourself a favor and never order here. Save your time, money, and stomach.

I ordered to go and next time I will eat there it was very good but since it was to go it wasn't as good somehow I will try it fresh and reevaluate

The best fried rice you will ever have I promise! 🥰 The egg rolls are seasoned so good! They huge fried shrimp are my top favorite! Fast service and always fresh

I love this place. I lived in this area at one time, but now I live in Moore. I still drive to Del-City for the Mandarin. The crab cheese is the best, and no one compares on the egg rolls. We have loved every dish we have ever had. Take out only... No dine in.

Have been eating Mandarins for over 20 years. Every time I come home to visit I eat there every day! Best egg rolls and Hawaiian chicken ever!

Spicy Chicken Fried Rice and Crab Rangoons I recently had the opportunity to try the spicy chicken fried rice and crab rangoons at a local Chinese restaurant. I was very impressed with both dishes. The spicy chicken fried rice was perfectly seasoned and the side of chili sauce was the perfect compliment. I often get just the spicy chicken fried rice, but on this occasion I also tried the Hawaiian chicken, which was similar to a sweet and sour chicken. However, the rice was my favorite part of the meal. The crab rangoons were also equally delicious. They were perfectly crispy and the filling was creamy and flavorful. I would definitely recommend getting a double order, as you will eat them as quickly as you pick them up. Overall, I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great Chinese meal.

Currently the restaurant is take-out only. I ordered the garlic fritter chicken. It was crispy and fresh out of the fryer. What's amazing is it still tastes the same as I remember it 45 years ago. It is a little bit out of the way but I will definitely be returning to try other items on the menu.

Check your receipts, they overcharged me. I paid 28$ for a large Sesame chicken and a large shrimp fried rice which should’ve been $19 or $20 well I was charged 28$ before tax and 30$ after. I went back to my car as my children if they want eggrolls or spring rolls they said yes! So I went back i and ordered that was in the additional 6 dollars and he never wrote a ticket for it and just called it back, so when I called back to ask for my money he kept saying I only pay $28 which was a lie. I spent a lot of money with this restaurant I’m a business owner myself but it’s OK I’m gonna put my Creator on this restaurant check your ticket you probably have been being overcharged.. no food is it good for a restaurant to overcharge without you knowing….. ask for itemized receipt moving forward.( chicken over cooked, not a lot of sesame seed, thin sauce and not enough, spring rolls taste like peanut butter and mushy in the center, yuk!) I won’t be returning.
