We came here for a late lunch and the place was empty. We wondered if it was even open. They could do better about lighting, signage, and window usage to show the public they are open. We were happily suprised to find out that they were open and were quickly seated. The service was nice and they recommended popular dishes. I personally enjoy feeling more of a connection to the people around. They kept everything very professional and distant. I good places for privacy if that is what you are seeking. The vibe was crammed elegance? They did well with the small space they had available. The dining hall was practically a hallway to the back bathroom. White table clothes and fancy table settings. The food was good. I typically love this style of cooking. It wasn't the very best I've had but it was still very much enjoyed. The portion size was smaller than expected. We needed to ask for more rice and easily finished all the orders with no leftovers.

I have read the reviews and even had this restaurant as one of my “places I’d love to try” list. They did NOT disappoint!! We ordered the Bombay Aloo (medium spice) and Pappadi Chat (medium spice) for starters. The sauce for the Bombay Aloo was so so good! I highly recommend getting the Pappadi Chat, each bite is just an explosion of flavor and all the ingredients you wouldn’t think go together, blended and complimented each other so perfectly! We ordered the Garlic Naan, Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala for our entrees. Garlic Naan was well buttered and had the perfect amount of garlic ratio and soft. Butter Chicken was highly recommend when I was looking at the reviews and it did not disappoint! I got it medium spicy and it was just perfect, the chicken was nice and tender as well. The Tikka Masala was probably the best I have ever had! Chicken was tender and the sauce was creamy and so flavorful. Overall, I am so happy we chose to eat here and excited to go back for dinner to try their Clay Oven items! The chef was friendly and kind, he let us know about the Pappadi Chat and what to expect when we took our first bite. He told us how everything is made to order and how he gets the chicken so tender! My fiancé and I both appreciated it very much since it was our first time and we will both definitely be back and will be bringing our family and friends here!

While I understand that Alaska prices are higher. The amount charged for the amount of food is ridiculous. $10.00 for 1 piece of naan bread. $8.00 for a small box of rice. $30.00 + for a coffee cup entree with a small amount of rice and no naan Come on that is not even worth it. The flavors are good but the prices are out of line.

The food was delicious and made to order. The prices were good for the amount, care and flavors of the curries and the naan was fresh and warm. The chef was so kind and came out to tell us about each dish and we loved how relaxing it was to dine and not feel rushed. We will definitely be coming back. Great date place!

Where to start? First of all the customer service is unrivaled. I'm very unfamiliar with Indian cuisine. The owner not only greeted us but explained each of the dishes as well as appetizers. Making suggestions based on our questions. The Thakali Curry, a dish that comes from the owners village came with a charming story which which not only explained the dishes smokey flavor but gave a personal insight into the owners history and the history of the dish itself. I did try it and thought it had a wonderful and complex smokey flavor. I ended up ordering the Butter Chicken for myself which was a perfect introduction dish. Not only was it incredibly delicious but it was something, that in my opinion, anyone could enjoy. Do yourself a favor and order the Pappadi Chat. It was phenomenal. While it is an appetizer I could easily see myself ordering it for lunch or a light dinner. When looking at it from the outside you would never guess how charming the interior is. It's a smaller restaurant but it has a very personal feel to it. From the presentation of the dishes to the white linen tablecloths. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

This might be my most favorite spot for Himalayan food! The ambiance of the whole restaurant is amazing and the service is an experience. We had the owner serve us when we went and he was very passionate and accommodating!! The food was seriously impeccable and perfect portions. Would 10/10 recommend

For my birthday, a party of 10 came and we had such a wonderful time. Even though they were short staffed our server/cook/host and all around amazing gentleman was able to bring us delicious fresh authentic Indian cuisine, well remaining poised and confident, I highly recommend any one who is a foodie or who enjoys very relaxing restaurants to come here as soon as you can!

Overall very good food. The flavors were rich and deep, however the food was slow to come out of the kitchen (probably because they make it fresh). The portions were sort of small, my friend and I left after spending $80 (including tip) still a bit hungry, we got a Costco hotdog on the way home. It's in a strip mall, but the inside ambiance was decent. I would be a frequent visitor if it was better priced. Tip: bring cash! They take cards but with a few percent surcharge.
