Mama's Pizza - Italian restaurant in St Paul - 961 Rice St, USA

I ordered a sausage/pepperoni, light cheese and well done. There were tons of toppings and the pizza was cooked exactly to my liking. The owner was very personable and friendly. Mamas is takeout only, I highly recommend it!

Tried Mama's Pizza for the first time. Great old-school-style tavern pizza. Very helpful and fast service. Lots of melted cheese on their pizza and we got extra sauce. It was a very nice crust but I like my sauce with a little more flavor. I like a little sweet and spicy but still a solid pizza. Also had the Hot Dago Supreme and it was delicious and a lot of gooey cheese, onions, mushrooms, and lots of sauce and huge portion. I got it with no green pepper. I liked the sandwich a little more than the pizza (personal preference) The other person tried the mostcolli and said it had tons of cheese, huge portions, and loved it! They also got the antipasti salad. I'm not sure how it was. Definitely worth a try the ingredients are fresh and they don't skimp on the topping portions.

Wow!!! Stopped in from out of town and was greeted with uncommonly friendly service. They had over 2 hours of to go orders, but the owner was kind enough to squeeze our order in. They do not have dine-in at the his time but after hearing we came from out of town they quickly offered us a seat to enjoy our fresh pizza. The anticipation was well worth the hype. Top notch in every way and strongly recommend this joint to anyone. Plan ahead for o get your order called in and enjoy every slice. The menu items looked fantastic as well. Lastly, I want to give nod to the staff other than Tony for being so kind to us and making us feel right at home. They run this place the way all small pizza places should operate…restaurants for that matter. Cheers!!!

Our first time to pick up Mama’s pizza was last Saturday and it was so good we picked it up again a week later! The pizza has a crispy cracker crust, bold Italian sauce and high quality, generous toppings! We ordered a pepperoni sausage and a pepperoni green olive, both loaded with toppings! We requested the pizza to be well done and the pizza chef showed us the pizza directly from the oven to be sure it met our satisfaction… very impressive customer service!

Quality Food, Fair Price and Friendly Owner. If you like a Heavy Dense Pizza on thin crust. The mozzarella is quality and the size of small cheese curds prior to hitting the oven. The amount of sauce is perfect, you know there is sauce but not so much it’s messy. The crust was perfectly cooked, crispy cracker edges without being doughy or over cooked in the center. The owner Tony takes pride in his craft & establishment, which is why this place is one of the top 100 pizza places in the country. I recommend the flavor explosion (yes pineapple belongs on pizza) and Tell’em OuttaTownTony sent you from Google Reviews!

1st time here, saw you helping out homeless on tiktok and wanted to try your pizza. My son is a pizza guru and I got the thumbs up from him. We all shared the sampler and it was awesome. Worth the 45 min drive. Great people with charitable hearts and the food is amazing!

So yummy. They actually care and love customers and bringing a smile to your face. For carry out I love to add a side of meatballs with a couple pizzas, our fav. Dining in has a really comfy family experience that is something I haven’t experienced elsewhere. 💖

Good honest Italian food at reasonable prices. Mama's is serving up hot pizza, pasta, subs, etc. and it tastes delicious. It's not a place to find the latest Italian cuisine trend food but between the spaghetti & meatballs, ravioli, pizza, Italian sausage subs and great Italian bread...it hits the spot perfectly
