We are in The area for a few more days and wanted some authentic Caribbean food, THANK GOD WE WENT TO MAMA’s kitchen. She was so friendly, place looked hygienic and the food was soooooooooo tasty. We ordered oxtail and rice= very yummy, meat falls off the bone; steamed fish and rice = soooooo tasty; jerk chicken and rice = very authentic and her stewed veggies are amazing Sorrel was smooth Please support this tasty business
Food tastes amazing. In order for me to select anything I like, the individual who served me took his time looking over all they had! That was much appreciated because many Caribbean locations will rush you
I have been living in this area for years, always seen this place and never tried Mamas Kitchen! The food is delicious. The Customer service needs work. Needs more smiling faces. The ladies are not so friendly. What I didn't like is, she walked away with my food to the back. I didn't know why until after . She chopped the chicken up and added the oxtail gravy. When the service is not the best, I want to make sure my food is not being messed with. I will try this place one more time.
They are kinda slow. Even when there were only 3 guest including myself in the restaurant it took an extremely long time to get my meal. Finally getting my meal was great. I dined in and enjoyed my meal (nice and slow🤣🤣).
This place is cheaper better than Dutch pot. I wanted some authentic Caribbean food. The man was so friendly, and most Caribbean places I go to are so rude. they have a good food and good customer service.
All this Caribbean goodness for less than $12. I think I just died and went to heaven. Nice dining room too! My only complaint would be that this place is TOO good, and now I’m going to compare everything else to this and it’s all going to seem subpar!
