The quality of the food is very good. The kebab kobedeh is very tasty and the rice is cooked in the best way.
The cashier was very polite and friendly.
The location of the restroom is inappropriate, and the items are stored very untidy in the corridor.
For the price there was excellent portions of meat and rice! The man at the front desk was super friendly and the restaurant and sitting area outside were lovely. I mean the food was great, the rice and meat were perfectly seasoned. OH the eggplant dip was absolutely to die for, I’d recommend to anyone, even if you dislike eggplant.
My only quarrel which is why I gave 4 stars to the food was the baklava. It was stale, probably left in the plastic box for too long so the philo was no longer crispy.
Delicious combo. Tender rice with a hint of butter and saffron. The chicken is juicy and has a little spicy pepper flavor that is unique. The koobideh was delicious and lean. Excellent meal.
Great place for Persian food and the owner Alex is very hospitable. Me daughter and I tried lots of dishes featuring chicken, beef & lamb with two rice options. The traditional basmati with saffron & his grandmother’s mixed vegetables rice. We really enjoyed ourselves. We also had two beautiful salads! The fresh bread and yogurt & cucumber sauce was spot on.
It was one of the best Persian restaurants I ever went to and tried in the US.
Qhormehsabzi, Gheymeh and Tah dig, Kabab Kobide, and Joje Kabab were so delicious.
I will try when I visit DC again.
Ordered at the counter around 4pm. The place was empty but clean and modern looking. Food was ready in about 15 minutes. I got away with parking in the CVS (roof lot) because there were no street spots. Food was a little disappointing; beef didn't have a good char on it, flavors were standard for kebab, nothing was particularly outstanding. I wouldn't make a special trip again—it was average kebab in an above-average looking setting.
First of all, this is not a fancy restaurant but the quality of the food is awesome. The staffs are really polite and you feel very comfortable with the owner. He’s a great guy. I tried Ghorme Sabzi, Gheyme, Koobideh, and Supreme dish. I would say all the stews taste better than their kabobs, or maybe I felt like that. The prices are also very fair and reasonable. If you ask for Tahdig (crispy rice), it will be added to your rice free of charge. I hope they keep the quality of their foods as good as it is now and extend their businesses to other DMV areas, so I don’t have to drive 30 minutes:)
The best Persian food I’ve had in the U.S., second only to my grandma’s cooking. When they say cooked like mom’s, they mean it! Thank you so much for a beautiful meal and incredible service.
