I have tacos everywhere I go and I tried the Al pastor tacos and the quesabirria both were the most flavorful tacos I’ve ever had, the service was super fast and everyone was really nice. Definitely coming back and bring everyone I know here. Get the chips and salsa to start off!
Our server was hilarious and obviously loves her job. Which is a sign of a great establishment. Food was hot and delicious. Drinks were extra tasty.
I want to give five stars, but the online ordering platform currently has a problem with customizing your order. When adding some items it lists meat options, but then does not allow you to select one. It also doesn’t allow you to remove items like sour cream for example. Our burrito defaulted to beef, which was fine for my husband, but should still be noted. Calling in the order or dining in would be the best option.
The food was great, and I had no problem selecting meat options for my 3 taco meal. I was able to get fish and shrimp tacos! The tacos were awesome and we really liked the fresh made chips. The portions of the sides are large, so keep that in mind if ordering for just yourself. The takeout was packaged so nicely, there was no worry about tipping or spilling on the way home.
This place must have been through some major changes from the current pictures online. I do know they are new to this location. Also they were slammed, so not the typical new business at all. I ordered 3 Tacos (1 Shrimp, 1 Taco El Jorge (sub lettuce for peppers) & 1 QuesaBirria) to get a good sampling of what they have to offer and 1 Strawberry Margarita. It appeared at times that I had 2 servers (I assume one was training the other but no idea which was which lol). Still the neighboring table and I both got our food without any silverware or napkins and waiting what seemed like forever to flag one of them down just to pay. Also, I ordered all of my tacos no onion, no cilantro but the QuesaBirria Taco not only had both, but only one bite of meat all the way on the end...like the rest fell out before it even made the plate. The meat itself was good but the rest obviously wasn't edible. Both the other tacos were delicious. I would have ordered more since I was still hungry with only 2 tacos but by the time the waitress got back to me I didn't have time to order another. The ambience was nice but very crowded. And not that there was anything that they could really do about it but when I went to use the bathroom someone made such a mess that the smell was unbearable and you had to simply walk right back out or risk getting sick yourself. I will be back during a hopefully slower time and would love to try some of the Vegan options next time. I didn't even bother to ask about them this time given that they were busy.
Update: we end up here at least once every couple weeks. Drinks are great and well presented, food has never been a miss.
Have been here twice, and both times were amazing. Great food, unique margarita selection, excellent wait staff and bar staff. Will definitely be a frequent flyer here.
Meal was so delicious, great variety of food and amazing customer service. The Mamacita crew really takes pride & joy in making sure the food is fresh and making sure their customers are satisfied!! They weren’t lying when they said it will become your new addiction! I’ve been here everyday!! :)))
This place was very loud and instead of smelling like food, all I could smell was the cleaner they use to wipe everything down with. The food more than made up for the mentioned negatives, pictured is the chili Verde, and someone must have asked them to turn the music down which helped with having a conversation with my friends.
Well, I was greeted and seated. The waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere here was different. Not comfortable. I would like to be able to see around the restaurant without barriers? The food was...Ok. The birria tacos were good, but the Elotes (corn on the cob) was terrible, and this is not how you make it!! All of the ingredients were not there!! If you are going to sell Elotes, make sure you have the right ingredients! And they have to be put on in order. First off, you should use yellow corn on the cob, mayonnaise, parmesian cheese, squeeze/spray butter spread, more parmesian, then you season it with a paprika & cayenne pepper mix. But, I will be back for the Birria Tacos!

I was in town on business and they were recommended by the locals. And I can totally see why! You can get a table but I chose a seat at the bar. Service is above and beyond and Iâm convinced everything on the menu is outstanding. Gotta check it ou
The service was excellent. This restaurant has the option of eating inside and they do have a nice patio outside that I highly recommend you sit at night as I do have umbrellas and a nice overview of a pond with a fountain. Their margaritas are top n
Strong drinks and great food!
My margarita was too strong for me, but that's not a bad thing - my husband thought it was perfect!
Love that the combination platter options let you pick and choose between a lot of things...everything I've tried here
My family always comes here when my husband and I come into town! Itâs my dadâs favorite place to eat. They start you off with chips and salsa, if you want a spicier salsa you can totally ask for some! The food is really good and if you want your
I got the new pork belly street tacos, mostly because they sounded good, but also to represent my home state of Iowa. I was blown away by how good they were, with the perfect amount of spicy and sweet, all three were wiped from my plate. It's great t
My favorite healthy place to eat in Cedar Rapids - you canât go wrong with the no coast bowl or the chana masala. Tried the spring rolls for the first time this visit (sweet potato, red cabbage and micro greens) and recommend. High quality ingredi
