Not quite sure what the rave is about at this place but it was our second time there and won’t be back. Still nasty as the first time. I got the chicken fried chicken plate that was ok but the gravy has a weird seasoning in it and that one seasoning is in all of the food seems like. The macaroni tasted like Kraft Mac n cheese but with the one seasoning they use. And the mash potatoes tasted like they were instant. I would not recommend this place at all.
Had to leave a review before I went to bed! So looooook!!! This pork chop and mashed potatoes and gravy??!! Excellent!!! Red beans and rice like none I've ever had. Simply amazing. Like I really couldn't even pick a favorite out of all three. They were so nice and knew me as soon as I walked up!! I love this area where they are located with several other food trucks, but I will definitely be back to try more of Mama Vee's menu before I make it to any of the other trucks 😩 I am hooked! Thanks for the fresh and hot food and stellar service!! My coworker got the Mac and cheese and chicken and dumplings, she said it was equally delicious!! Be back soon✨✨✨
Fantastic burger. Suitable, filling size and rich flavors. Hardly greasy at all. Fries are hot and seasoned well.
I was on vacation in Hot Springs and read about Mama Vee's and thought we would check it out. OMG!!! Food was delicious!! I had the cheeseburger with seasoned fries and my friend had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. I have never seen my friend finish a whole chicken fried steak in one meal!! She devoured it! My burger had a wonderful crisp char on it just like I love and the special sauce they add was a great addition. I only wish I lived closer so I could eat there again soon. I hope they have continued success because their food is very deserving. If I am ever in Hot Springs again I will certainly look for them!!
We found Mama Vee's on Google, didn't know this is a food truck in an outdoor seating area with live band until we got here. This is a hidden Gem guys! Catfish and bbq baked beans were fabulous! Pork chop was thick and juicy! Homemade Apple pie bread pudding was a perfect add-on for the evening!
Definitely coming back for one more reasonably priced meal before we leave the Hot Springs!
Y'all...I wish I could explain to you this cheeseburger. Definitely the best burger I've had in my almost 5 years living in Hot Springs. The service was super friendly and warm and the burger was 9oz of juicy goodness. I added cheese and got everything on it. The "special sauce" is a sweet and tangy delight that's spread onto a warm toasted brioche bun. Some places brag about large greasy burgers that are just oversalted, but mama Vee's is seasoned to perfection and not slimy and greasy. Just hot, juicy, melt in your mouth cuisine. 😋 Maybe it was a first time luck kind of thing, or maybe, just maybe, mama Vee's knows how to make a dang good burger. Go check them out! (Be ready to wait if there's a line. They aren't fast food!)
Absolutely amazing. My daughter is a picky eater like most kids are and she ate every bite of her Mac n chz. And I even ordered her the large size in hopes she would like it.

We had Chicken & Dumplings, Chicken Legs w/Waffles, Grilled Ham & Cheese, and a Chili Dog!!! They make a caramel sauce to go over the waffles. All was super and the best food we had in Hot Springs.

Stopped for some yummy breakfast on our way home. I had their veggie omelet which you can have customized by adding on the protein of your choice if you would like to. I also got their surprisingly thick blueberry pancake and both were delightful!
