Mama June's - Buffet restaurant in Valdosta - 3286 Inner Perimeter Rd, USA

I was so happy to be back home and have this delicious southern cooking. The buffet was not lacking anything. Everything that was supposed to be hot and fresh was hot and fresh. There were even smothered turkey wings and pork skins on the bar.

This was a most excellent stop for us. Great buffet and a very hard-working staff. Only hiccup was the soft serve ice-cream was soupy. If ya like buffets done right, this is your place!

This buffet is okay. I have them four stars because of the service. When it comes to buffets and if you used to places like Golden Corral or Old Times, this is a step under them. The food variety is not too skimpy but nit as much as the previously mentioned restaurants. On the other hand and I cannot stress this enough, the staff there is really good.

First time here. Very impressed. They had over 70 different varieties of food on the all you can eat buffet. All southern home cooking. Everything was seasoned exceptionally well. I usually eat like bird, this day, I ate like a pig. Endless food. Salad bar, 3 entree bars, dessert bar, bread bar. I will definitely be back. Wait staff was exceptional as well!!! 10 stars!!! Highly recommended!! 2 of us ate for less than $30.

First time. Veggies were great. The fried chicken juicy and delicious. The dessert options disgusting 🫣. The place had a coat of dust all over our napkin holder and window seals and table were sticky and gross. If the front looks like that I can only imagine the back of house. Pretty sure our first was our last.

The food was absolutely the most disgusting food I have ever attempted to eat in my life. Literally, the worst place my family has ever been out to eat. What a disappointment it was after dropping $100 for my entire family to eat there. Hard earned $$ wasted. All of my family members agreed it was absolutely disgusting. The mash potatoes and gravy, Mac n cheese, and lima beans were unedible- has a strong disgusting flavor + so much salt it was insane. Almost like they were trying to cover something up. Cheese grits had no flavor. Shrimp was cold. We went on a Friday night when the bar should have been stocked with hot, good food. But nope, I am telling you don't waste your $$$ here.

I visited Mama Junes after asking for recommendations on the best fried chicken around. This was a popular answer. So I went with my sister and sadly, the chicken wasn’t anything to write home about. It was as bland as their mac and cheese. The green beans were also terrible. Tasted as if someone opened up a can of green beans and set them out. Absolutely no seasoning or flavoring added. I would not recommend. We were not impressed with the food and will not be coming back.

All the food we tried was very good. The beef stew was my favorite. The service and atmosphere were as expected for a buffet. Looking forward to returning.
