A nice Mexican restaurant. Great service. Very good food with a large selection menu. The atmosphere was pleasant. Good contemporary Mexican music was playing, not the folksy band stuff. Pricing was in keeping with other restaurants at today's high prices. Cheese dip was great as was the shrimp and rice plate. We will be back.
The food was good. It def hit the spot after running around w the kids!🙂 The customer was great and the paintings on the walls were so cute! Totally why the kids picked it😎The experience did not disappoint. I would suggest salt on the table though. For the chips n salsa. 9.5/10😎
My husband and I went to eat, for the first time, at Mama Coco in Vestavia, AL and couldn't believe how amazing the food tasted. We'd been looking for a better tasting - more authentic - Mexican restaurant and we've found what we were looking for!! We both had great tasting meal plus we were just in time for happy hour margaritas which were wonderful!! The entire family will enjoy the delightful decorations straight from the Disney movie Mama Coco!
Servings are huge!(hand for comparison) it's a great price for the amount of food you get and not only that it was DELICIOUS! I plan to take my family here soon! The service was phenomenal and quick as well. We got Mexican pasta and Chile Verde. The steak was so well cooked and soft and the chicken in my spaghetti tasted well seasoned and the spaghetti itself was saucy and good

Service was excellent. Great family place with fun decor. But the food was mediocre, and the margaritas were super weak. The mole chicken was just flavorless cooked chicken with mole sauce poured over just before serving. The fajitas had almost no vegetables, just meats. Lots of people like it, but it's not for me.

It would be 5 stars if they had the regular margarita not made with orange juice. But, loved EVERYTHING about this place!
