Malibu Grill - American restaurant in Bloomington - 106 N Walnut St, USA

Malibu Grill is great. Specially the service. Kudos to the staff. The food was bit mixed. The Kajen Steak was simply awesome. But the accompanying smashed potatoes were the worst I have had in my life. And at the opposite end, their Mac & Cheese was simply great. Had a old fashioned and it was good. Not great. Creme Brulee was great.

I had the four cheese pizza, it was completely smothered with cheese! The server was friendly and cool. The decor is great and they have TVs playing sports that can easily be seen even from the tables/booths. The only con is some of the prices are a little high.

My wife and I had a great time here. The service was excellent, food and drinks were very tasty, This is what you would pay for an upscale eatery on the square Bloomington. They have both inside and outside seating options. Great view of the downtown courthouse.

My boyfriend & I visited here for our 3 year anniversary and it was okay. For some reason we had higher expectations. Our server was very nice. I got the Chimichurri Steak, Medium, but it came out MR on like half of it, then medium well on another half. My boyfriend got the NY strip and it was not seasoned at all but it was cooked perfectly. Our server did ask if everything tasted okay & if our steaks were the right temps but we were not going to send them back or ask for a refund so we didn’t say anything. The menu also misled us a little bit. It states both entrees include mashed potatoes and the choice of a side but we were charged an extra $6 per meal (which is what the sides individually cost). Again, no big deal as it was our anniversary and we really didn’t mind, just noting it here because it may be misleading to others. We did enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant and may come back possibly for lunch? I’d like to think we just ordered incorrectly and wouldn’t rule out visiting atleast once more before completely ruling it out of our list .

Cozy place, nice atmosphere with bar and dinning room Had the crab cakes, mushroom pizza and a wedge with medallions. (Medallions were a bit small though) Service was good also, we’d stop in again

Malibu Grill Cajun Salmon is Phenomenal!!!! How do they get it so perfect? I also will Rave about the Prime Rib with Garlic Mashed Potatoes which were delicious! We came in on a cold night and our Server made the kids Hot chocolate from scratch!!!! I can't remember his name but it was Friday November 24Th!

Nice restaurant downtown in Bloomington. Place was busy on a Friday night but still able to be seated directly. Server, Deztinee, was very attentive and good knowledge of the menu. Table bread was delicious and meal came out in good time. Steak was good and veggies were ok. Salmon was perfect but portion of fries and mac n cheese were small in comparison to the price point. Overall a very good meal. Be ready to leave a $100 lighter to go with your full stomach.

Always a hit. Delicious food. Great service. Sydney was on point in her service style and thoroughness. 10+ Update: The hits keep happening. A very nice ending to a great day in B-Town!
