Majerle's Black River Grill - American restaurant in Sheboygan - 5033 Evergreen Dr, USA

We stopped by late one night for dinner. They were very busy, bt we were able to be seated. The service was very good and very helpful in informing us of their nightly specials. Since this was our first time here, the server also informed us of some of the dishes that the restaurant was known for. As a Supper Club and a steakhouse, I thought their bar had a poor selection of top quality liquors except for vodka. Outstanding food! My wife had their Broiled Scallops, and she still raves about them. I had the Walleye, single portion, plenty of food. The fish was lightly breaded, tender, and excellently seasoned. We were very impressed with our entire dinner experience. We will definitely return.

Family owned local log cabin restaurant. Casual, cozy atmosphere where yurt food is made with love! You’re in the beautiful Black River wooded neighborhood & there’s wildlife to be seen right outside the large picture window. You can also warm up by the fireplace! Highly recommend!!!

I don't ever do reviews, but this place is the best. Excellent service, great atmosphere, and then, the best prepared food anywhere.. Steaks, both ribeye and tenderloin, are done perfectly! Make sure to order the black river side salad!!!

A very nice local bar and eating establishment that has the feel of a cozy supper club tucked away in the middle of the Sheyboygan area woods on the very edge of Lake michigan. You can watch deer graze right outside the dining room windows, which is in a nice seperate room from the bar. Dining room seats a little under 60. Reservations are encouraged but not required. I would recommend phoning ahead unless you're going to show up at 4:00 when the dining room opens. The building has had many evolutions, and has been around since the 1940s. It's kept very clean and is in good condition. Prices are about average middle of the road. We recommend the prime rib special for Saturday night. A generous portion for about $23. Large cut was about $28. Sides: Seafood chowder was excellent, and side salad was a nice spring mix. The young man (Taylor) serving us was as nice as can be. Very polite and attentive. This really is a gem of a place off the beaten path. Get out of town and check this place out for some great food with a side of nature's serenity!

The food is always great at Majerle's. NEVER a complaint there! The drinks? The old fashioneds are like CANDY! Delicious! The service at the table is fantastic, but the reservation/walk-in seating setup leaves a lot to be desired. Go back to first-come, first-served, or do all reservations...but the "both" thing honestly stinks.

First time here. Glad we came early on a Saturday night. It booked up pretty fast. Service was great and food was good. We even had a show of deer visit. Very affordable.

I always celebrate my birthday here on a Saturday, for the prime rib and Porterhouse Saturday night specials. We celebrated our 19th anniversary on a Friday. My only disappointment was no baked French onion soup. Understandable on a Friday. Yet, they had seafood chowder as opposed to every other facility serving clam chowder. Yay! I love this place in its entirety. I have been a patron for 30+yrs.

Classic Wisconsin super club. The food was good, portion are large, super fresh and hot when brought to the table. The server was extremely friendly and attentive. They like to turn tables but you do not feel rushed at all. Stop in before your reservation for a drink as the bar area was very nice.
