Our favorite place for happy hour oyster. $1 gulf and $1.25 east coast. Best price in Houston. It’s all day Tue,Wed & Sun. And don’t forget the wagyu burger which is amazingly delicious.

What a great restaurant! When we walked in we were floored by how gorgeous the inside was. Very elegant and modern without feeling like it was too upscale. The hostesses was very nice and sat us close to the bar so we could take advantage of the happy hour specials. $7 -$8 drinks that were fantastic, $1 Gulf Coast oysters and $1.25 East Coast oysters, and a $30 14oz steak special that included fries. The service: literally top notch. So friendly and quick and everything you could want it to be. Atmosphere: like I said, gorgeous place. Food: okay, so the only critique I have is that the steak came out a bit overcooked than we asked for (we asked for med-rare and it was pretty much med-well). The steak tasted very good especially with the garlic butter and chimicuri, and even being med well was still quite tender. The shrimp ceviche- maybe it just wasn't what we should have ordered and other people would like it, but the the shimp were whole, the onions were sliced thin but long strips, and it was very juicy (like a bowl of juice) and served with plantains. Everything tasted good, just awkward to eat cause we had to cut up the shrimp. Drinks: really good. Highly recommend, can't wait to go back.

Such a nice place with great food I did like the salad and my main course also the dessert was so delicious the service was amazing and the stuff were friendly Great place for dating , business lunch, family gathering . Will come back again for sure !

The place was nice and the waiter was wonderful. Unfortunately, I was not able to eat because the order had pork in it when I specifically said no bacon. They said they would replate it but the pork has already touched my food. The next option was to remake it and it would take too long so I just went without food. The waiter was very apologetic and kind given the situation. I ordered the duck.

This was such a great experience! The restaurant has a wonderful up-scale atmosphere with excellent service from the moment you walk in! Everyone was super friendly; all of the food was prepared with great detail and the flavors were incredible! The Lamb trio was excellent! As was the surf and turf. The gougeres were not very cheesy. The escargot were not very garlicky and the ceviche had a strong citrus flavor bot no heat. The service was great

When I came here I was expecting French/Ecuadorean fusion but instead I felt the food was split to either French or Ecuadorean. It’s a little confusing but would have been okay if the food was great but instead I felt it was just okay. What I thought was good: 1. Of the three ceviche the octopus was by far the best. I would only order this one. The marinade was delicious and the octopus bits tender. I could eat this just by myself. 2. The soufflé was done well and served hot. The chocolate was delicious and the texture as expected. What was disappointing: 1. French onion soup: the only soup that after 4 slurps I gave up on and just moved it aside. My colleague also ordered one and did the same. It had an unnatural sweetness that is similar to cooking sherry, which is sometimes used in this soup. There was too much of it. Any onion sweetness was overpowered and made for an unpleasant taste. Kudos to the waiter for comping both soups. 2. Bouillabaisse: any true French restaurant should know how to make a decent bouillabaisse. Here, they served it without the soup and then the waiter pours it from a teapot. You usually do this to retain the heat of the soup. In this case it wasn’t necessary as the soup wasn’t hot. All the seafood was decent except for the mussels. It didn’t taste fresh and one of them had a “beard”, which wasn’t removed. The soup should have a flavors extracted from the seafood but instead all you taste is a mild tomato flavor. I’ve never had a tomato flavored French bouillabaisse that was lacking the taste of the sea, so this was a first for me. 3. Wagyu beef empanadas: if you didn’t tell me that there was wagyu in it I would have thought it was a plain beef empanada. There was nothing spectacular about it so I recommend not ordering it. 4. Shrimp ceviche: it’s forgettable so skip it. 5. Fish ceviche: Not bad but if you had to pick one, go for the octopus version. Drinks: 1. Magic cosmo was fun to break the bubble and smell the scented smoke. 2. Beso de primavera has a pleasant guava flavor and the spiced rim packs a punch. Overall, I was looking for French and I didn’t find it.

I met a buddy here on a Thursday evening at 6. Arrival was weird because theres a valet stand but no valet-self park in the back (valet only on wknds). Def not a problem tho; because the food and service were fantastic. Cocktails exceptional. Beet and goat cheese salad made perfectly. My friend has the fried shrimp and it looked delicious; he wanted the rabbit but they were, unfortunately, out of rabbit this time. He got the duck and said it was very good. I had steak frites and it was cooked perfectly as medium rare, seasoned just right. We finished with soufflé desert and that was also just perfect. We’ll be back with our wives next time and can’t wait to dine here again.
