Maison Perrier Bed & Breakfast - Bed & breakfast in New Orleans - 4117 Perrier St, USA

We recently spent three nights at this Wonderful bed and breakfast in the Garden District. Two blocks from the streetcar line and a short walk to Magazine Street.||The room was so nice and the bed was ridiculously comfy. Though there were other guests, it was really quiet. Good breakfast of mini-quiche and pastries to get each day started. There is also a very nice sitting area with books and games.||We felt very safe walking in the neighborhood. And that’s a great walk because it is surrounded by the gorgeous and historic homes in the area. In fact this inn is on the historic register as well!!||It’s a short distance to the French Quarter but worlds away. Well worth a stay on your next visit.

Where to start. We stayed at the Claudette room - it was amazing. Clean, beautiful, spacious (we were so surprised, the room was just as advertised!). But I digress. Lets start with the personalized attention we received. We were taken care of even before we arrived. Tom was amazing and he was ready for us when we arrived. Communication is always key and he knows it. Patricia’s attention was amazing, her quiches are delicious!! Tom and Patricia really are a power couple in my eyes. Parking not an issue, quiet, friendly atmosphere, close to everything. This place is now our favorite and will stay here again.

Positive: My husband and I traveled to New Orleans for our son¿s wedding. This was the perfect place to stay during our time of celebration. The B&B is gorgeous and located in the beautiful Garden District. Our kind innkeepers took care of all our needs.

Maison Perrier is hands down the most authentic, charming, and inviting place to stay in New Orleans! We hope to only stay there on all future visits. The location is perfect- walking distance to all our needs and safe/quiet streets for parking. The room was spacious and beautiful! Breakfast was delicious! See you soon Tom & Patricia!

I'm finally getting around to writing my review of Tom and Patrica's establishment. I stayed here in late June/early July during my trip to the Essence Fest. My wife and I stayed for 5 nights at Maison Perrier and we can’t recommend it enough! It’s a wonderful period property and a beautiful part of town. It’s a very short and pleasant stroll to Magazine Street, with all its great restaurants and bars (we particularly liked Vintage Bar), as well as great independent shops. ||The B&B is also a very short stroll to the street car stop where you can get to the French Quarter and beyond (takes about 15-20 minutes). The Garden District is very safe and great for walking around, taking in all the wonderful houses. Be careful on the pavements as the are very uneven.||The B&B is owned by Tom and Patricia who are lovely people and great to chat to. Our room (Jasmine) was just fantastic, beautifully decorated, very large and had a great balcony. We had breakfast and coffee downstairs in the dinning area which was great. My only suggestion would be maybe a buffet might work a bit better, but what we had was great so not a complaint at all. Plus we didn’t need a huge breakfast given all the food you are going to eat in New Orleans! ||Overall we had a wonderful stay at the Maison Perrier and cannot recommend it enough if you’re staying in New Orleans. Maison Perrier is the quintessential B&B with all the charm, hospitality, and attention-to-detail you see depicted in movies. Tom and Patricia are fantastic hosts, and they provide an outstanding experience. Located in the Garden District and within walking distance of many wonderful restaurants and attractions, I recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable NOLA experience. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well appointed, and though I sometimes get a little creeped out by historic houses and antique furniture, I did not get a single Victorian ghost child vibe in there. 10/10, I'd stay there again.
