This is exactly what we were hoping for. 1 block from the shops, clean room, clean shower, and affordable. I see people complaining on the reviews about the silliest stuff. You could hear other guests through the walls? Welcome to a hotel!||Support the Inns and hotels that are doing commercial business in a commercial area. Stop patronizing airbnb that are taking housing away from the blue collar residents. ||Heirloom had free ice right outside our door, a big enough mini fridge to keep leftovers in, and a big enough trash can to actually use. The AC window unit was sufficient for the room size and kept us cool all night. ||If I have added one thing it would be a small table in front of the couch for our coffee and dinner leftovers.
The Good - the Inn is in a great spot. we could walk to everything that was worth seeing. The chowder next door is incredible, and we also found some great shepherd's pie, brick oven pizza, and Mexican close by. The nature trail down by the water was pretty nice for the kids.||The Bad- we stayed in suite 3, the bed in the back was like concrete, and every time you tossed and turned... it squeaked like crazy. There is NO water to jump in anywhere. No pool and the lake is full of wildlife - I would NEVER recommend going in the summer, and we live in the keys... so that's saying something lol.||The UGLY - let me preface this by saying my family does A LOT of staycations and trips to hotels, dozens per year. Hundreds since my children have been born. My husband used to be the head manager of the largest housekeeping department on the east coast for Marriott Vacation Club International for years. We leave all places putting wet towels in the bathroom, usually strip beds, and take out all trash (anything that would make his crew's life easier, we do, it's just ingrained in our blood). When we arrived the only staff and contact we had was one manager/cleaner, that immediately was talking bad about some "one night guests that left the place a mess, but at least they tipped her ok". She seemed nice enough and we took that as just small town allure, never thought much about it again, although very unprofessional in our eyes. We did our normal respectful check out... did what we could for ease of cleaning, tipped the cleaner even (which I think should be returned), and left. IMAGINE my surprise when I woke up in the middle of the night the next night and had an email from the owner saying he had a video and pictures of damage and was charging me an extra $300 to repaint for marks on the wall (in the bedroom my husband and I stayed in mind you) and linens that were stained and could not be laundered.... WHAAATTT? never in my life have we been accused of such things. I explained how well traveled we are, and how he may need to be more present before he accuses someone of these things. I asked for the video and pictures (which he did not provide) and he just responded that while he does believe damage was done, he was refunding the charge. Which he did. ||I was floored, and so was my husband. If you stay here, and especially if you have children, take pictures on your way out. Maybe they need a new paint job in that suite, but it's not going to be on my dime. Not sure if it's a scam they have in place, or just bad info from his property manager, either way protect yourself. PICTURES.
Let me start out by saying the bed was very comfortable. Other than that we did not enjoy our stay. The place does not really have any personality. they don't allow calling to book, I thought it was a bed & breakfast as it looks like it, but I think they just cheaped out and called it an Inn so they wouldn't have to serve food. The walls are paper thin. The guests above us came in at 1 a.m. and stopped on our heads for hours, then got up early and we could hear the water running, the blow dryer... etc. Their court yard and out door area really needs help. The rooms were okay but they could have done so much better to make them charming. We would not stay again and would not recommend it especially for what we were charged-VERY OVERPRICED for the accommadations
We stayed in Suite #3, which is a two room, two bed suite with large bathroom w/huge shower. Everything was spotlessly clean, bedding was cozy and A/C worked GREAT during what was an exceptionally hot weekend. I loved the ice freezer with available bags of ice. An unexpected convenience. It is such a convenient location to walk to everywhere downtown, and the restaurant right next door, Tony's Chowder House, is fabulous! We ate there twice, and took chowder home. We would definitely stay here again.
The first impression when I walked in the room was a musty smell, extremely humid. No central AC. Other than that the room was quaint. I had a terrible night, the bed was very uncomfortable, terrible old mattress, I suffer from allergies and the pillows were made out of goose feathers. I hardly slept. Other than that no complaints. We had four twin beds. The room had a small desk and two chairs to sit on. No sofa or couch.
Location!Location! Walking distance to shops and restaurants. It’s clean, lots of room and has a lovely courtyard. It’s and older building but the upkeep has been good and we love it! This is our third stay.
Oh my! What can I say! AWESOME! We were told it had a small sitting room.. bigger than we thought! So nice and roomy. For the cost of $120 a night?! They should charge $200 or more!!! We will be back when we come again! Love love love it!! So clean, so roomy! So in love with our room
The rates were excellent, the room 2 jasmine was quaint and very well stocked. Only stayed for one night but had tons of towels, coffee and many supplies I wasn't expecting. (An assortment of cups, cork screw, an iron and ironing board with a gallon of distiller water). The little seating area was great! The room was clean and welcoming. Staying there was a breeze! So easy to checkin/checkout! Just a heads up the pizza place next door that you see on Google maps street view has moved but you can walk to so many restaurants and the pizza place isn't too far away. The location was excellent, just one small block from everything but still very quiet. Would be thrilled to stay there again!

We regret not coming sooner. We loved their shakes! The owners were so helpful and friendly. Definitely a go-to when running errands or you missed a meal. Their menu is filled with protein, low sugar, and a variety of nutrients in every cup.
What a nice surprise in this adorable little town. Lots of local wildlife to see. In our short walk (30 minutes), weâve seen snakes, gators, turtles and dozens of birds
We visited the flea market about 10 minutes away and wanted to explore the town. Very beautiful place to take pictures and just sit around on a bench and read or just have a conversation with your favorite person. We couldn't walk more around the are
Best fried chicken Iâve had around here. Itâs hand battered and fried to order. They have an array of sauces and rubs to choose from. I got the chicken sandwich with mild Buffalo sauce, seasoned fries, and loaded street corn. Everything was hot a
We found this place after researching for the best sandwich in town, it was just as great and yummy like everyone raves! The truffle fries were absolutely deeeelicious too and dipping sauces were bomb! Definitely a must try. It's a small spot but pa
