It is a cute and comfortable hotel. Great location in a safe area, close to many popular spots in LA.The decoration is vintage style. Room is clean and well maintained, there are shampoo, body wash, conditioner, Q-tips , cotton, and soup offered in the bathroom. I forgot my basketball cap on the couch when my one day tour bus came to pick me up. The Philippo front desk lady ran outside and passed to me before my bus left, thank you 😊 🙏, so sweet. They offer complimentary coffee in another sister hotel and the coffee is surprisingly good. If there is one thing they can improve, I would say maybe to change the carpet, it will elevate the whole quality of this hotel. Other than that, everything is good.
OK, I know a lot of the reviews can be all over the place so here is my honest review from a luxury blogger standpoint. The hotel is vintage. It’s 1920s 1930s there is going to be areas that really look aged however this hotel is a very classy the rooms are top-tier. The bed is comfortable, the wallpaper of the soft pink pastels are so elegant so luxurious and very feminine. The bar is open for everyone to enjoy after five. You can get complementary coffee from their neighbor the mosaic hotel you can also get a glass of wine from 4 to 5, which is really a nice touch and there is the Peninsula hotel right across the street where you can enjoy appetizers at the club bar if you like.
The aging of this hotel makes this hotel, intriguing interesting and classic. The hotel is also conveniently located in walking distance to Rodeo Drive the Beverly Hills Hotel, which had the Dior spa only 1 mile up the street a ton of restaurants. The Trader Joes is not far away maybe a mile. What else can you ask for and the price is affordable. We are in Beverly Hills where everything is extortionate.
Comfortable room, affordable, vintage, with complementary amenities and conveniently located what else could you ask for in a hotel and the staff is exemplary. The only thing is parking is $45 but there is street parking from 8 to 6 in two but after 6 o’clock, you can park overnight .
Just make sure to move your car before 8 AM the next morning, but I wanted to give you all all the tea because this is what we look for when we are trying to find a hotel or eating at a restaurant. We need all the details. We need to know how to prepare ourselves and if you give this hotel, a chance, I promise you, you will not regret it.
This is a unique hotel with a lot of character and a very friendly staff. And very reasonably priced for the great location in Beverly Hills. I ran into a musician I know from Sacramento once at the hotel bar proving it’s a place for people with good taste! Honestly it’s hard to find a better place to stay anywhere in West LA.
So my wife and I love staying at different hotels just because we always have events and family coming to town so we like to know what is near bye and what they have to offer. So we stayed last night here and you walk in and the guy at the desk was very helpful and polite. Walking to the room you can tell the place is older but still clean and cute. Open the door to the room and has a nice king size bed that was comfortable and clean. A desk to work at a t.v if that is something important to you iron board , safe, small fridge and the bathroom was clean and nice. Water pressure was good. They share with sister property right behind them so pool is available and happy hr 4 to 5 you can get a free glass of wine there as well. As far as location you are literally a short walk away from the famous street everyone wants to go to , many restaurants and bars. Close to Santa Monica about 6 miles. And so kn
Rooms were not cleaned. The dustbin in the room was full. Towels on the bathroom floor. Previous guests’ toiletries still in the bathroom. There is a 45$ parking charge and 14% resort fee which the website dis not mention. 0/5 for cleanliness and 1/5 for value for money.
Maison 140 is a great value. It shares amenities with the Mosaic Hotel, which is very nice, also, with pool, restaurant and bar. Maison 140 was more than adequate for the price in Beverly Hills(I hope they don't change that ever:)If you like a little shabby chic, it's for you. Vincenzo, at the front desk was awesome! Personable, helpful and fun to chat with. Jennifer was also a sweetheart. All of the staff did a wonderful job. I'll be returning there when in Beverly Hills. Au revoir!
The staff is friendly and gracious, and the location in Beverly Hills is great. There's an adjacent parking lot with reasonable pricing for the area, which is usually very expensive. I spent two nights there while attending an event at the Beverly Hilton, which was an easy walk away.
Hey All , Hope everyone is doing great .|| The property is Small but clean well equipped . The rooms don’t have coffee machines (u have to visit their other property which is 50 mtrs away for the same i.e.Mosaic). The rooms were very small and good for 2 adults with a child below 14 years or max . Try for higher category for bigger rooms .| |Bar: there is small bar area near reception which can accommodate around 10 people ||Comfort : it’s fine , but bathroom is really small . Try for higher category which have decent size Cleanliness :rooms , bathroom , sitting area 100% clean and hygienic .||Toiletries :Good Quality products || Staff :don’t believe them as when I checked in I asked for an upgradation , that time they said we can do but may be next day as we are heavily sold out ,we said ok for a certain fee then everyday they just started making excuses and every other person on the reception started with new statements when ever we asked for the same , we were there for 7 nights but each day they had new excuses . Which is very sad .||Location : its good clean , near enterprises rent a car and 15 min walk to rodeo drive .||Taxi: from airport its approximately 30 min I guess ||Charging for EV : yes but only Tesla ||Parking : they do have parking space with no extra cost .||Suggestion : Please don’t make false commitments with clients as because of them you are running your family .I suggest to change ur reception staff. don't want to name the people but the owner should try to talk to them and make them understand that this is their bread butter .||Other hotels: try Mosaic the new property which is bigger .||Booking : you can do directly ,or via agent ,online.
Hubby and I just stayed three nights in a king suite and really enjoyed it. Our rooms were clean and spacious and very modern. Best of all was the lively bar with Bob Dean, an entertaining bartender (you'll make his day if you ask for a "rusty nai
