MainStay Suites Raleigh North - Extended stay hotel in Raleigh - 2601 Appliance Ct, USA

This hotel is in the process of remodeling. Though my room had been almost completely renovated, it was filthy! Housekeeping was sorry. The floors had not been swept or mopped in days, looked like. I could not even walk barefoot in the room. Toilet was filthy! Shower was filthy and backing up! Toilet steady ran the whole 3 days I was there. Towels and wash clothes had bleach stains and yellow stains on them. There was a slug and spider crawling in my room. Just poor quality of a hotel for the guests. Needs to shut down until renovation is complete and a thorough clean is performed! Service was friendly. Worst part is, my car was HIT in the parking lot! I know the hotel is not liable for things like this, but somehow the cameras did not even pick anything up so nothing could be done about it. Cheap is not always better. Pay the extra money and find some place better to stay!

The hotel is nice and location is in a quiet area. My room and nice and clean but my door was messed up. Hard to open and close. Walls are kind of thin, heard a lot of conversations. The fitness center is small but decent. I was satisfied with my stay. Staff responded to my needs quickly and were present when needed.

We recently stayed here for a week for a work trip. We stayed in the new rooms. It seems like the hotel was under renovation and they were done with one side. The new rooms are fantastic! Very clean and comfortable. I like having a kitchen for trips longer than couple of days and this was perfect! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely stay here next time I am back in this area.

They are renovating but the renovated rooms, fixtures and TV are a big improvement, the rooms are relatively spacious and feels like a mini apartment and they even leave some dishes and untensils for you tonuse...even if you check out late guest services will work with you if you have money to stay longer they don't get pushy or argumentative. The front desk is very polite and courteous and it's relatively clean. The surrounding area isn't the best nor the worst but I tend to just stay in my room and tend to mind my own business...i def don't feel unsafe in the hotel. Just would be nice if they offered detergent for the laundry and they repaired the dishwashers

This was THE WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed in!!! Construction being done everywhere, power tools left out god forbid children stay there! Our first room the door was completely broke, like off the hinges broke. Then at 2:46am the power goes out in the ENTIRE hotel for almost 4 hours, people meet up with hookers right outside in the parking lot. Whoever runs this place does not care, it’s like a slum lord motel and would give negative if I could. Will be updating with pictures soon.

This place is trash, we had to switch 5 different rooms because of trash, cigarette smell and roaches. The wildest part is they said it was our fault we were asking for new rooms and not the fact their place is terrible. We read the reviews but this was really the only place available because of the busy weekend. Just sleep in the bushes.

Benny and Tatum provided excellent customer service. They are very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was peaceful and the suite was very clean as well. I would recommend this location for anyone who is looking for a suite. Thanks guys!

I enjoyed my stay here. Rooms were clean, up to date. Housekeeping and staff are friendly and efficient. I will visit again.
