The lady working front desk was very friendly. Older property, decently kept up to date. Room smelled like cigarettes, and could have been cleaned a little better. But not as bad as some review would indicate. Not a bad room for the price. Only a real complaint would be that housekeeping could do a little bit better especially in the bathroom cleaning the toilet and hairs. And food chunks from around the floorboard in the kitchen.

It is a great hotel to stay at, the front desk service is great the house keepers are decent, the rates for extended stays are great. WARNING though! If you stay here avoid the general manager Steve Pittman at all cost. Im 99% sure he has a mental disability and shouldn't be running any type of establishment because he lets the authority go to his head. I've never had someone in a professional setting talk to me the way Steve talked to me one morning about payment. Midge is amazing you will love her and the other lady that works the front desk is also a very kind lady they treat you like you're family.

I'm confused about the negative reviews. Genuinely confused. I am a travel nurse and stay at hotels all year at least 3-4 nights every week, hundreds of hotels over the years. This one is up there in my faves ESPECIALLY for the price point. Yes, sometimes super duper fancy ones with pools and such are nice, but I'll take the full fridge/freezer, stove top over those. I stayed this past week. Very seldom do I go back to the same hotel each week because I am THAT picky. But I plan to finish this contract (the next 13 weeks) here and more if I extend. The room was very clean and up to date, plates/glasses/utensils/bowls/coffee maker/etc are included and pots/pans/air fryers are available if requested with NO CHARGE (most hotels charge for these items). The room was super quiet. I didn't hear a single thing except a door closing maybe twice. Can't even tell that there are dogs in the building. The hallways are clean and clear and the entire hotel smells great; much to my surprise because the 3 different hotels that I had stayed at the 3 weeks prior in the area were disgusting and weed smell all over and just nasty. The employees are very attentive to your needs and very personable, especially Roberta (she's the only one I really see due to my work hours) and she's just awesome! The other guests are awesome and super friendly and we congregate and discuss our days outside sitting on the bench. Calm atmosphere. I've already booked a reservation for this week and will be booking for next 12 weeks. Thanks for all you guys do!

VERY CLEAN! The manager Steve and Midge, customer services Roberta ,Derek as well VENUS ARE Awesome. The are friendly and accommodate you with what you need very during your stay. Dog friendly. The rooms are very clean and big have kitchen and full fridge. New Matresses and pillows. Gym on site, it has good work out equipment. Laundry on-site. They have a gazebo where you able to grill just ask for propane tank or you can use charcoal.

RUN FROM THIS NASTY PROPERTY!!! We booked a non smoking room a year in advance and when we arrived at the property there is cigarette smoke, the smell of animals and other funky smells on and in the property and in our room. The property needs many updates and repairs and was just nasty looking in general. There is no way I will ever stay at a choice hotel again and definitely not this place. The smells and condition of the property was so bad we had to leave immediately. My husband gets severe migraines and there was no way we could stay. We booked a non smoking room but it had definitely been smoked in. Spoke with Steve the next day and he was unhelpful and said he would not refund us the money spent on the room. Awful experience and will NEVER STAY AT A CHOICE HOTEL EVER AGAIN!!!!

Manager walked in my room without knocking and yelled at my sister. Front Desk GSR is disrespectful cursing around guest. They tried to charge my card before I extended my stay several times during the week I stayed. GSR was telling other guest my business and about my stay and when I informed the manager on a phone call. He put me on speaker so that she could hear my complaint. I have reached out to the franchise. Company GULF COAST HOTEL MANAGEMENT without response. I would not recommend this hotel as the staff is not customer friendly.

Very nice hotel, especially for the price point. Great kitchen space full refrigerator. It was nice quiet and comfortable. Management and staff were great and super helpful. Highly recommend this hotel and Steve the GM is the man.

Bed was so uncomfortable that I had to take the mattress off the frame and lay it on floor to sleep. The WiFi here is worthless. It’s very slow and the signal is very low. Don’t bother trying to use your laptop or Roku neither works with how slow the WiFi is.
