The Gen. Manger was the best!! He helped us to have the best stay possible. The room was great and very spacious. I was quite surprised as the entire staff went out of their way. Bravo! We will be back next year without a doubt! Thank you to all.

Went to get a room here and the front desk lady told me she needed to use a card for incidentals. Not uncommon so I gave her my card and she took pictures of the front and back of my card for some reason. Then she sent em to check my room to make sure it was ok before she charged me. I went and checked it and it had dead roaches on the bathroom floor as well as several live roaches running around like they wasn’t scared at all. I immediately left and told the lady at the front desk. She acted fake shocked and said she would let them know. Ended up at the Route 66 hotel instead for half the money and a much better room and no bugs. Was pretty disappointing considering they are giving 7500 bonus points for staying atm that I had to miss out on because of a nasty room. Never again will I go to this dirty bug infested location. If you currently have roaches at your house and don’t mind em by all means stay here but you’ve been warned

This was a strange hotel stay, and I can't recommend it for the price, though it was a lower price than other area hotels. I waited ten minutes for someone to come to the front desk at check-in. They were apologetic and polite to me, but pretty unprofessional in the way they spoke to each other in front of me. No big deal, but a strange start. The room was fairly clean, except for a carpet that needed to be vacuumed. The whole building was quite humid, so complaints of mold in previous reviews are legit, though it seems to me they have fought it off pretty well. There was quite a bit of noise on the floor, which I'm able to sleep through, but must warn others who aren't about. I checked in a little after 3:00 so could also hear the cleaning staff in the hall and they were loud and spoke crudely (words you might not want your kids to hear). I went for breakfast at 7:25 on a Sunday morning to find NOTHING served. There were no utensils- nothing! A sign on the counter (which took me a while to even see) said that their new policy was that when the food was gone there would be no more service! Overall, for me it wasn't horrible, but not worth the money, even though it was cheaper than other area hotels. I might expect this level from a $50 or less hotel. I rarely write negative reviews, but can't recommend this place.

We were here on a family vacation and #1 reason was they allowed us to stay with our two dogs. Starr, our rep who answered many questions on the phone before we arrived, was extremely helpful all during our stay. Our first two nights were very restless, the hotel being in the middle of a name change and remodel, had some workers in the next room late night. She stopped them and then on the third day she allowed us to change rooms that was much better, allowing our dogs, and us, to sleep much better. The location was central to many of the museums and restaurants that we visited, so it was a pretty good jumping off point for us. There was no breakfast available, again since they were in the middle of a transition. The rooms were adequate, nothing fancy, but having beds and a bathroom were all we really needed.

Friendly staff. Clean room. We arrived after 1am and checked in. Got everything into our room and started the shower and the shower head literally shot off the pipe. There were no other rooms available, so the night manager went to find a replacement shower head. 45 minutes later he had it installed, but we were dead on our feet by then and opted to postpone the shower til morning. Not a bad place to stay, the complimentary breakfast is respectable; but our experience was heavily impacted by the shower fiasco.

The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly. However, the sink did not have hot water only cold. Which was strange as the shower water got pretty warm. The pool was not open due to renovations, so we were disappointed as we there was no mention of this when booking, we were traveling with 3 children and we told them we would be able to go swimming after a long day of traveling.

Reserved a King bed with sofa bed. Wasn't ready or room cleaned at 10pm. Had to check several rooms to see if they were cleaned and ready for guests. Settled on 2 Queen beds - room looked clean however there was a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower rod. The air conditioning unit did not work. Learned several units in rooms were not working and they were having to shuffle guests into different rooms. Called front desk - maintenance never showed up. Was promised a $40 credit and am having to call to see where the credit is. I would NOT recommend this location. 8/21/18 - Still waiting on a "manager" to return my calls. I've called numerous times leaving messages because there is no manager available. Have not received the credit that was promised by Lexie the first night at check in.....

My husband and I booked a king room on Priceline. I called in advance to confirm our booking and they upgraded our room due to no more king beds. They upgraded us to a 2 queen bed suite. We were pleased with the accommodation. My husband woke up at 2 in the morning due to bed bugs being on the bed. I did not get any bites but he has them all over his body. We quickly threw out some of our belongings and then went downstairs to make the front desk aware and to check out. The staff were incredibly friendly! I really enjoyed conversing with them about the situation. We’re supposed to be receiving a refund later today. I’m only disappointed at the fact the room we stayed in just had gotten exterminated for bed bugs three days prior according to staff and that the second treatment had not been done yet. I felt that they should’ve waited until the second treatment was done prior to putting us into that specific room. Other than this hiccup, I felt that the staff was extremely friendly, understanding and even offered us a new room. We decided to leave and go back home from our trip instead, but the hospitality was something I appreciated. Make sure to check your beds before sleeping in them! We checked one bed but not the other so of course we assumed no bed bugs but were wrong. Again, the only reason I’m giving 1 star is because this room still had not gotten a second required bed bugs treatment. If it did and we did not have this issue I sure would give the hotel a higher rating.
