MainStay Suites Grantville - Hershey North - Extended stay hotel in Grantville - 105 Kelley Ct, USA

The bad: I would absolutely give this a 5 star rating, but for the fact, the room was a little dated. I can live with that, but the ring in the toilet (room 216) was a little off-putting. The trivial: The indoor pool is not heated. THE GOOD: The hotel was otherwise CLEAN. I regret that I didn't get the name of the man at the front desk, but he was fabulous, extremely courteous, and helpful. The pool area was great, with a huge slide. The breakfast area was exceptionally clean. The game room with a basketball court was the cherry on top. I would recommend this location 100x over and will definitely stay there again if in the area.

Today has possibly started as the worse day of my families lives. We were scammed out of money for a place to move into and had no where to go. I hopped on google and found mainstay. From the second I heard Chris’s warm friendly voice, my anxiety was starting to ease. This was only magnified once we arrived. I can confidently say that any time this hotel is an option, we will be staying here thanks to people like Chris. He was friendly, personable, recommended other services like the credit card and loyalty card that I didn’t even know existed. Needless to say my family of 4 have a place that was super affordable and is nice for the next week thanks to Chris!

It had a lot of amenities which was awesome you were never bored you always had something different to do every night that we were there. We travel around a lot with our job and stay at different hotels and this one was like one of the best hotels that I stayed at. There might be a couple nicks n dings. But Hey nobody's perfect. There's more pros than cons 😆😁 but I felt at home when I was there. And the staff was really friendly. If we weren't trying to put a smile on their face they were trying to put one on ours. 😁

Second time here for a family trip to Hershey. Large, warm indoor pool with a slide. Video arcade room with basketball. Breakfast that includes pancakes, fruit, yogurt and breakfast sandwiches. I also took advantage of the fitness room which was nice. Overall a great stay.

My family had a blast staying here! The pool was warm and the slide was my son’s favorite part of the entire trip, NOT Hershey Park LoL The gameroom had a great variety, even a basketball court. The room was clean and the sheets were noticeably comfortable in my opinion. Plenty of TV channels and the crib was free & easy to request. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially Shelly! I’ve been seeing reviews dissing their breakfast, but I’ll say if you’re not going for a 5-star meal, then it’s just fine. It’s what I feed my kids at home anyway… pancakes, fruit, and yogurt. They even have breakfast sandwich options(with/without meat) and various juices. If you don’t care for those items, there are fully stocked kitchenettes in every room so you could make your own food, which we enjoyed making grilled cheese one night. My favorite was the coffee that was available 24/7, which I very much needed wrangling 3 kids. The kids kept saying a few days after we left “I wish we could go back to the hotel.” We’ll definitely be back!

I was visiting Hershey Park from NJ and didn't want to deal with a long drive home after an exhausting day at the park so I booked a room at Mainstay Suites. As a single mom, price is a top priority when planning a vacation. I was delighted to find a place so close to the park that was well within my budget, and also had a pool with a waterslide and a game room. In my kids' eyes, this might as well have been a luxury resort. Our room was clean and spacious. Sure, there were a few small chips and dings in the bathroom, but it was still clean and didn't bother us a bit. We appreciated the full size fridge so we didn't have to struggle to make things fit the way we would at a hotel with a mini fridge. Checking in was quick and easy, and there was plenty of parking in the attached lot. There weren't a ton of breakfast options, but my kids were really entertained by the pancake machine and the pancakes were really tasty. The hotel is right next to an Italian restaurant and directly across the street from a Sheetz, which made it a breeze to get something to eat or any other forgotten item. Overall a great deal for the price, great location, and the waterslide and game room really set it apart.

The hotel is a good location, close to Hershey but not to close to be near a ton of traffic. The pool was nice, clean area too and the slide into the pool was fun. Plenty of towels were available. Rooms were nice, plenty of room for our needs, the refrigerator was great to have for our ice packs and water bottles. Restaurant across the parking lot for dinner, was excellent. Hotel overall was clean and we would definitely stay at the hotel again.

We booked this hotel online while driving to the auto train in Lorton, Virginia. The outside looked nice and the parking lot was well laid out. The|location was slightly away from things but there was a gas station and an amazing Italian restaurant, Fabio’s, across the street. ||Check in was ok once they found our Choice Hotels number. We got a room on the ground floor across from the pool. Since we arrived after 7, we went directly to dinner at Fabio’s and didn’t even check out the pool. ||The room had a kitchenette which was nice since I had leftovers to store in the fridge. The tv was small and reception was poor until hubby giggled things around. Pillows on the beds were the size of throw cushions. The furniture, baseboards, bathroom mirror, etc were all chipped and past their prime. We were able to regulate the heat as needed. ||Breakfast was minimal: pancakes that came out of a machine like a conveyor belt, egg muffins, yogurt, coffee and juice. No toast or muffins, no cereal, no peanut butter or cream cheese.
